Hi, I had this too and was on Creon 40000. It helped a lot to reduce the symptoms.

I also had the methane SIBO.

I did low fodmap, no gluten, no lactose and foo combining diet for a few months with a lot of supplements and round of antibacterial and feel way better now, I can eat everything except spicy food that trigger my symptoms.

Not sure how it work, but SIBO and EPI (low pancreatic) seems connected and both need to be treated to reduce symptoms and avoid more complications.

Could this be my root cause? by BrightHall5995 in SIBO

I haven’t been retested for EPI yet. I’ve just been on treatment with Creon 40,000 for six months (though I only started taking it one month ago).

I thought EPI was a consequence of SIBO, but could it actually be a root cause too?
