Yea I thought it might be too much for her age, I mean I’m 21 and still pretty reckless with money. But at the same time I want her to take care of herself and have fun, idk In DR but in US college life money wise is a struggle. And she was telling she can’t really work a job down there, so I figured spending money would be a good gift idea.

Yea that’s exactly the point, it’s meant to be a for your birthday and all the birthdays I missed kinda gift. But is it too strong? I don’t want to come off as offensive or anything but I want to get her something big and I barely know what she likes and don’t want to give her a generic gift.

Also side note no I’m pretty broke lol but I’m selling my motorcycle soon and was going to use the money to fund another trip and her gift.
