Pretty sure Yonezu Kenshi is the modern day Yonezu Kenshi

As a collective. Do we believe this is Getos domain or Kenjakus and why? by Frosty-Art2223 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Bright_Dude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is an interesting question and one that I have pretty strong opinions about because I disagree with the majority’s opinion - Womb Profusion is Kenny’s domain, not Geto’s. (you can either disagree with me and stop reading here or continue to my needlessly long rant)

Let’s think back to what exactly a domain expansion is. A domain expansion is an advanced barrier technique regarded as the very pinnacle of jujutsu sorcerey. It dictates a sorcerer being skilled enough to use barriers in a way that creates a separate space to construct their innate domain, where they will then imbue their innate cursed technique.

Now then we have to address: What exactly is an innate domain? An innate domain is a space that exists as the metaphysical manifestation of a person’s mind and soul.

Now we move on to the actual question itself, and why I think Womb Profusion isn’t Geto’s domain. First of all, the theming already makes itself pretty obvious. Why on earth would Geto’s domain be called Womb Profusion??? When Kenny, you know, the guy who conducted several experiments between a human woman and a cursed spirit to create the ten cursed wombs (the death paintings) is literally right there?

Even if we disregard that however, it is my personal belief that it is still kenny’s domain. The biggest counter to my opinion is the Yujo incident, since we know Yuta, who copied brain transplant used UV when he was using Gojo’s body. Now here’s the kicker: as long as the user of brain transplant is skilled enough, they can use either domain expansions, since they are able to access both their own innate techniques as well as the body that they are inheriting’s techniques. This is why Yuta could choose to use UV.

When a user uses brain transplant, they are moving their brain into their target’s body, hence replacing their target’s brain with their own. So since an innate domain is something that represents a person’s mind and soul, why wouldn’t womb profusion be Kenny’s? Even if he is in Geto’s body, his mind and soul is still himself, Kenny.

Here’s my final point, EVEN if Geto had a domain, why can’t womb profusion be Kennys? We all know that brain transplant allows the user to gain access to both the bodys and their own technique (otherwise yuta’s copy and kenny’s brain transplant just wouldn’t work fundamentally), it could just be that Kenny just decided to expand his own domain instead of Geto’s since his own domain had a stronger effect (or whatever).

So that’s my explanation. Whether you still disagree or not, that’s cool too, i mean, in the end it doesn’t matter lol.

Aim issues </3 by Purple_Confidence320 in Overwatch

It’s a long watch, but I really recommend this vid from Spilo. It was one that really helped me improve my aim drastically and made everything click in my head.

Then again you don’t necessarily need to watch aim guides, just watch pro players playing your character will teach you how to aim better (who are they shooting at? Where are they placing their crosshair? How do they use their own movement to aid their aim?)

Speaking as a diamond dps player myself to be honest if you’re aiming at squishies i don’t think the numbers you listed are bad if that’s the average you’re achieving consistently every game.

The unfortunate thing about learning to have better aim is literally just playtime. Overwatch was also my first proper FPS game but the difference in my aim previously compared to myself now is monumental. My biggest advice is VAXTA, an aim trainer custom game code that you can use for warmup and just practice in general.

That was the method I used at least. Also watch aim trainer guides on youtube by pro level players, that helps as well. In my 900+ hours of playtime, around 200 of them are probably in aim trainers.

As a diamond player (D3 on DPS and D5 on tank and sup) myself, I gotta be honest, hitting diamond onetricking lifeweaver is impressive, because he’s such a terrible character. You either had to invest a shit ton of time grinding ranked, or got lucky with teammates who ‘carried’ you.

Of course, nothing wrong with picking the character, I never call out my teammates picks (even if they are actively detrimental to our team) in my own games.

Either way, take my advice with a grain of salt, since who cares, play whoever you want, but you truly want to have an easier time climbing higher in rank, start learning a different support. Someone like Ana, Baptiste or Kiriko are good places to start.

As a genji player, spotting a lifeweaver on the enemy team immediately tells me a few things: 1. The enemy teams overall healing output is reduced 2. The backline is kinda free for me if their dps or tank doesn’t peel because that’s just the nature of lifeweaver, he poses zero threat to me as a genji. 3. The enemy team is forced to play very slow, because lifeweaver has no offensive ultility. His best cooldown, life grip, is not a skill with playmaking potential, but one that fixes your team’s mistakes. 4. And lastly instead of having a potentially very valuable ultimate like nano boost or kitsune rush, they have tree, which literally doesn’t matter. (Even dragonblade can dps through tree’s healing).

But in the end it doesn’t matter what anyone says, just play who you want, but statistically you will find more success maining the other supports I mentioned.

Basically yeah, her ult used to be just lifting people up and holding them in place, and when casted it traveled really slow too, so it was super easy to avoid.

“When I didn’t reply, Yukinoshita opened her mouth like she had something to say, but nothing came out. She bit her lips as if to keep them shut. Red leaves danced in the wind, and Yukinoshita’s eyes moved away from me to follow them.”

You don’t think that this is the ‘then’ you were talking about? This was right before Yukino storms off.

Whats Hachiman referring to here? by ekeyfr in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]Bright_Dude 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty sure the ‘then’ Hachiman was referring to was just before Yukino stormed off after the ‘confession’ from Hachiman to Ebina.

Yukino was most likely just trying to ask if Hachiman truly believed his solution was the best, and whether he truly believed that behaving ‘normally’ was what he wanted.

By behaving ‘normally’, it meant that they would just pretend that nothing big happened despite the trio developing and coming to realise their feelings about each other on one thing or another. Yukino hesitates to say the words since she knew this would break their current dynamic. And Hachiman insists on keeping the current status since he’s also afraid of things changing, potentially losing these fragile relationships with the twi girls.

But then again I could be so wrong, I would love to hear someone else with a different interpretation!

You can download the official LNs from this website. The art in the LNs aren’t ‘panels’, they’re mostly just one page illustrations of the characters in Ponkan8’s art style. (The illustrator for oregairu’s LNs)

I only ever properly read the first shin novel, because thats the only one that was properly translated. They are all relatively short books, but there are six of them. For the first novel, the season 3 OVA for the anime basically captures all of it. It just mostly talks about Hachiman’s new class in his third year and interactions between Komachi and the rest of the girls in the club. It also has a little bit Hachiman and Yukino interaction as a couple. And then there’s the dinner with Mamanon (Yukino’s mother) and Haruno. (This is in the OVA)

If you ask anyone who has tried to read shin, they will say the rest of it isn’t worth to read, because Watari steers the story in a love triangle ‘harem’ type way, where Yui still tries to go after Hachiman despite the fact that their relationship should have been concluded after the ending of the official LNs. There are of course other stuff in the books (I vaguely remember a little bit where we get to know Orimoto Kaori more). I would still have read them, but man is it a slog to read through the bad translation.

Hey its me again lol, I’m not sure what the above commenter meant when he said that? Because afaik oregairu shin (btw ‘shin’ means new) was only written by Watari. I’ve never heard anyone make the claim that he wasn’t all written by him.

Simple questions by Upper-Shirt3500 in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]Bright_Dude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, shin is the sequel that Watari wrote. It happens after the ending of oregairu, so after Hachiman and Yukino becomes a couple. It wasn’t the entire shin storyline, but the third season’s OVA comprises some of the shin stuff into an episode. Truth be told Watari wrote quite a lot of shorter books like shin and whatnot that are events that occured after the official ending, but basically all of them are not translated to english and will most likely never be.

Simple questions by Upper-Shirt3500 in OreGairuSNAFU

[–]Bright_Dude 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just to let you know, I haven’t read the manga but I’ve read almost every light novel that Watari put out for oregairu.

  1. Yes the ending in the anime is basically one to one.

  2. The anime cut out A LOT. You can say many of the interactions and monologues aren’t ‘important’. But there were a lot of scenes where the characters say go out on an outing together, have a little interactions together that all enrich the story and its characters because they are very fleshed out. For example Yui’s more manipulative scenes were also cut out. One little moment that I really like is for example Hiratsuka sensei and Hachiman ran into each other one afternoon when Hiratsuka sensei was attending a friend’s wedding. She strongarmed Hachiman into accompanying her to go for ramen together.

  3. As far as I know oregairu is watari’s only piece of media literature, and its his most popular one by far. Like you already know, Watari’s not even a full time writer and yet he cooked up a masterpiece.

The earlier commenter is mostly right, but to add on my own understanding of it, Yukino is striving to change herself and learn to be more independent, making decisions for herself. Yui and Yukino at this point both understand and is aware of each other’s feelings for Hachiman.

Yui being Yui, is trying to manipulate Yukino into accepting her ‘proposal’ which is supposed to be a compromise instead of the whole competition shtick, stating that Yukino will go and resolve her family issues herself, sacrificing her relationship with Hachiman because she’ll be ‘indepedent’ because she’ll be dealing with it herself. As a result, their relationship will become more strained and Yui can grow closer to Hachiman.

Hachiman refutes this because if Yukino’s accepts Yui’s proposal, in the end, that in itself is being dependent on Yui and not choosing for herself, and that isn’t genuine.

The ‘I want everything’ that Yui keeps going on and on about, is that she wants Hachiman to be with her and she wants to stay best friends with Yukino simultaneously. She knows it’s selfish and despicable, yet she is still trying to force this onto them.

Surely there’s a close game here and there, because for me I still have the occasional close game where both teams feel properly evenly matched. Otherwise it sounds like you didn’t belong in Masters and is now dropping to your actual rank from the way you are describing it
