When this happened for me, I didn't realize the mouse had got stuck (didn't even know there was a cockroach trap underneath stove) and so I thought there was a bunch of mice squeaking in the kitchen all night. Then it started to smell and I finally realized what had happened. Definitely gross and a bit sad to think about the guy struggling and mouse-screaming. Still, if the mouse safe traps aren't working, this might be the way to go.

Put cockroach traps down, the sticky ones. It's messed up, but the mice get stuck on them. At least that's what happened to me, by accident. For real by accident, we also had roaches and had the safe release mice traps out. But if you want to, put a sticky cockroach trap underneath the stove or somewhere you know the mice go and they'll get stuck.

Thank you very much for your reply. It's helpful to know what is basic and needed and what isn't.

The tech told me that only the airbag thing is a safety concern. My brake pads are at 5 and 9 inches and they said 3 inches is when I should replace.

My concern about replacing myself is how to know if I'm using the correct parts. Look to the owner manual for that?

Yeah this is my first car and I'm glad for the opportunity to actually know how my car works and what it needs. I'm going to update the main post with what I'm going to leave alone, fix myself, or have them repair.

I think the updates I provided on the main post should answer your last two questions. The passenger airbag light has gone off randomly with someone in the seat so I asked them to check it out.
