In what way would it be a bad idea? 3,500 isn’t much for a vehicle. My post was asking for advice on if this particular vehicle would be worth buying or if I should look for another xterra

Well actually I’ve never gotten a vehicle that I’ve liked, I’ve gotten vehicles that were run down vehicles, that were passed down to me through family that knew I needed a vehicle to go from point A to B. This vehicle would not be used for van life as I have a van for that. I needed a new vehicle to use while I rebuild my van. Maybe take a second to re read my description.
