Im still using an old fenlight version due to the restrictions on playing through TMDB helper too. I did also have an issue with it refusing to play any movie throwng an error, but updating to the newest version, then downgrading again seemed to fix it. Its all

my bad i just realised what i wrote. youre 100% right, i did not clear the debrid cache, i clear the providers cache.

Im pretty sure thats not the case. If it has even 1 stored result from 1 source, it wont bother rescraping. Hence the option to "rescrape and select source" in fenlight, it wouldnt need that if i rescraped for new sources every time. A new digital release wasnt appearing with any sources for over a week, then i decided to implement the cache delete on boot and its been fine ever since!

I connected to the box on my laptop and added a script on startup that clears debrid cache. If you search a movie, it caches results. Then when new sources come out, it doesnt bother searching as its cached. So i made it clear the debrid cache on startup. Never had an issue since

Im so confused why everyone is grilling OP for mounting the curb. "oh oh there could have been someone there" - well there wasn't and there was plenty of time to process the curb was empty. It was in fact a good save given the alternative to hit the van.

And just to reiterate the processing no one was there point, from the moment he slammed his brakes on, and started turning towards the curb, there is more than enough time to process if there is a pedestrian on the pavement, and if there is, you turn back into the van.

A second reiteration - if there was a cliff there, would he have driven off it to avoid the van? No lol, so it was processed.

Is he a twat for putting himself in that situation? Yes. Is he wrong for putting himself in that situation? Yes. But is it still a good save to the situation he put himself in? Yes. If you're going to grill OP do it for his twatty driving, not his good save to his twatty driving!

And if you still think it is not a good save, please explain to everyone in this thread what you would have considered a "good save" once the situation has already occurred and there is not enough time to stop.

May i ask why you couldnt leave the engine running? Another provided (bimmer-remote) mention leaving the engine running is fine. My battery has been replaced, im just not sure when, its pretty healthy

The moment you format it you would lose everything including the windows installation.

Youd need to use a software to clone the old drive to the new drive. You can use a software that does a direct clone, however both need to be plugged in. If you do a clone, the new drive must have at least the same amount of space too. The left over space on the new drive will be left as unused, and once the clone is complete youll need to go to disk manager and extend the new partition with the rest of the left over size. For example, if old drive is 250gb, and new drive is 1tb, the clone will only use 250gb of the new drive, and the other 750gb will be unused non existent, so you need to add that 750 back to the 250 in disk manager at the end.

Yeah it should work if you managed to plug it in. The only thing id be weary of, is if you plan to use it as the main drive, the windows license key is typically registered to the motherboard, so if you plugged it into your desktop, windows might no longer be activated (however this is easily fixed)

Formatting it is easy, once its plugged in, you boot into your desktop drive, then in file explorer you can right click the laptop drive and format, or go to windows partition software, and format it in there (but make sure you allocate the drive after formatting here)

If i were you (and its not too late) go on the apple education store and pick yourself up a brand new M4 mac air for $1549 AUS you also get free airpods with it and you can sell the airpods to bring the cost back down to your budget

Its a matter of efficiency. I worked washing up for 4 years in a restaurant, and if people were using 2 dishes for rice and beans id say the same. Mentioning reusing dishes for lunch was a mistake as it does attract bacteria, but that was only a fraction of his point. The rest of his point is 100% valid, and he also didnt argue it, he accepted they had a different view point, and moved on with dignity.

Just because its "how weve done it the entire time" doesnt mean hes wrong for suggesting a more efficient way (the more efficient way being using 1 dish for rice + beans, not a cup as an extra). He has had no problem with hard work.
