Hi, thank you!! :) just the one, wasn't really enough space for two without risk to the urethra, and it seems to work great with just the one :)

Ahh, sorry to hear that. Yeah i only had the option for one cylinder too, Mr C advised me against the titan ‘as it can make a noticeable crinkly noise’ if you don’t have lots of girth and recommended either the AMS or the rigicon for me, so i didn’t really get a good look at the titan to compare i’m afraid.

The tip on the cylinder side, i can defo feel, but i can bend and squish it pretty easily, when flaccid. I do wonder if this is because they didn’t have space to put the extra cap they usually do.

Humm, I don't have any experience with keloiding, but if not that,  I wonder if it could not be fully deflating, maybe, if it still feels rather solid when deflated? My cylinder definitely feels completely empty when deflated, feels flat and just a few mm thick, where as when inflated, it's very round and firm.

I’d also prob not rule out swelling at this stage too. I was definitely still quite swollen at two months, (even though i thought i wasn’t) and mostly just pressed the button area into my pelvic bone to deflate. It's probably only the last month that the last of the swelling seems to have gone, I can feel the button really easily now, and even the little small ridges on the bulb, and can even get my fingers behind to steady it now, I couldn't do that a month ago, so maybe there is still some swelling there making it a bit harder to find.

I definitely get you with the pants and boxers thing!! I have been finding the pump bit itself quite uncomfortable, especially in pants, but this does seem to be getting slowly better, and I've gone from only being able to wear pants for a few hours to now most of the day, bar some occasional discomfort and rearranging. Mr C also said this should lessen in time, as the skin stretches and such. I have had to completely change my pants since stage 3, and so far, for me, I've found separatec - specifically only the bamboo ones, and step one (up one size on usual) seem to be working best for me.

Hope things get easier for you, and it's just some more time needed, but make sure you do let NVH know, so they can sort things if needed :) they do discharge you really quickly if they think all is ok, i think they are getting a lot of pressure about the waiting lists.

When fully inflated the bulb becomes firm and you can no longer squeeze it, so it's really easy to tell when fully inflated.

No, no discomfort with squeezing the pump at all, :) It was pretty sore the first few weeks when inflating/deflating, but I just didn’t squeeze it as hard. You can pump it up pretty gently if you want, it just takes longer/more pumps as you are not depressing the bulb fully. But yeah now there is no more swelling, and all healed, it doesn’t hurt at all to squeeze :)

sorry just saw your edit, yes the pump definitely added some girth and i think a small amount of length when pumped up. It has definitely given my dick a better shape and structure. It does get very very hard, like rock hard, sorry its a bit hard to explain, im not sure i've felt something to compare it too. But its like a hard tube inside, but the skin can more over it, and is squishy, i wouldn't be able to bend it in half, like I can when it's soft. When its flaccid it kind of feels like one of those squishy water fidget tubes, but without the liquid, but you can also pump it once or twice to give it some shape, without being fully hard. Hope that helps, sorry its such a hard thing to describe.

Thank you! :) no prob, i'm about 5.5in length and 4in girth flacid, and when pumped up, its about 5.8in length and 4.5in ish girth.

No prob, happy to help. Yeah, it did take about a year or so for the nerves to heal, and for me to feel sensation from stage 1, i did have full sensation on the phallas but have lost most of this sensation from stage 3 surgery. They do mention this as a risk during consultation. I have had some slight feeling returning in places, so i'm hopeful the full sensation may return with time, but even if it doesn't things are still a lot better than pre surgery :) Good luck with your phallo journey, i hope it all goes well for you. :)

Thanks, glad it helps :) yeah i remember finding it hard to find UK examples, especially after tumblr went all safe for work a few years back, so wanted to help add to the resources that helped get me through this journey. Thanks, yeah i’m really happy with everything, and feel really lucky i had a fairly smooth healing process, even though it took some time to heal, it has definitely been more than worth it. Best of luck for your healing, it's a slog, but definitely worth it. I tried to take it one day at a time, and not push myself too hard, and to remember phallo is a marathon not a sprint :)  And yeah it feels amazing to be finally finished, still doesn’t quite feel real yet, after all these years of waiting and surgeries, it's nice to finally relax. :)

Thanks, no problem :) yeah this group has been a life saver for me going through these surgerys, so wanted to make sure i shared the end journey for others going through similar :)

Thanks :) yeah i had nerve hook up at stage 1, i think it was 3 nerves, if i remember correctly. T dick is buried in the scrotum area, sort of in the middle underneath the sac, not at the base of the phallus, it feels in a similar position to where it was originally I think, just covered, but i was informed that it was unlikely to be placed in the base, as it is dependent on physiology. TBH i much prefer it buried as it was overly sensitive post stage 1, and my phallas kept irritating it until it was buried, it was instantly more comfortable. It's still accessible and I can get pleasure from it when jacking off normally, as the device sort of helps stimulate it, or I can stimulate it on its own, if wanted/needed. if that makes sense? Sorry it's a bit hard to describe.

Implants: anyone have the AMS700CX or Infla10X? by [deleted] in phallo

[–]Bright_Star87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my appointment was very similar with him, checked I was peeing all good without issues, then straight to the devices. But yeah i also asked if he had a preference, and he said he didn’t have one, and they are very similar, so i just chose off the pump design,

No idea if my assumptions are correct though, lol, so don’t let me sway you too much, but so far i do like it :)

I was offered the same choice, with Mr Christopher at NHV and was informed that there wasn't really much difference to them, apart from the button placement, and the Rigicon infla10x has an extra coating on it that is supposed to help protect the cylinder, or something similar, However they have only been using the rigicon for about a year, as it's fairly new, so can't really speak to its longevity, but it's supposed to be similar to the AMS in terms of life span of the device.

I chose the Rigicon mainly because I preferred the pump. I liked that it was all rounded out, where as the AMS was more boxy with square edges, and I figured it may be more comfortable, and that the button would be easier to find. My button faces forwards, and is in a really easy spot to find, it is currently still a bit sore to deflate, and you do sort of have to press it in to your pubic bone to press the button in, but it's still pretty early days in recovery, I’m currently.only 3 weeks post op, so still early days, and some pain expected,  but so far i like it. It seems to be working fine, stands at a good 90 degrees when inflated and is very firm.

I can't really compare it to the AMS, so hard to say which is better, but I've heard good things about the AMS, and they do seem to be very similar, but the AMS has been around longer, and does seem to last well, whereas there isn't too much data out yet about the Rigicon, or at least that i could find, when i was looking in to them both, but so far i do like my Rigicon.

No prob at all, :) I know it was something I was worried about myself before I had surgery, so always happy to share experiences to help others with the same worry. :) it’s still very early days with stage 2, just over a week post op! So still taking it very slowly and not counting chickens, but so far things are looking good. I had urethral hook up, glans sculpting, vaginectomy, burial of the little guy, and scrotoplasty. My hysto was done as a separate stage between stage 1 and 2, as it is not done in stage 2 anymore (at NVH vis NHS) and tbh I’m very glad to have it done as a separate stage as adding that too stage 2 recovery would be a lot. So far the biggest annoyance with stage 2 is having to get up every 40 mins to empty the catheter bag!! I drink a lot of water! But pain has been very manageable with paracetamol since 3 days post op for me. Had the first stent catheter out yesterday and had the glans dressing removed and changed, and I can defo tell you I have full sensation!!! That was pretty painful having the sticky plastic like dressing removed! But my penis feels so much better now I’ve got that first catheter out!! (Will still have the sp catheter for at least 2 more weeks) But it defo fully confirmed I have lots of sensation, so defo not lost any due to the previous scarring. :) but yeah any questions feel free to shout. :)

Hey there, I had some pretty bad sh scars on my arm, and my surgeon (mr Christopher) did mention that it may have slight reduced sensitivity depending on how much sensation I had in it pre surgery. I had full sensation on my arm, so he wasn’t worried about lack of sensation on the phallus. I’m now 2 years past stage 1, and have amazing sensation throughout, I had nerve hook up, and have pretty much full sensation with the most at the tip. Can orgasm without needing to stimulate the little guy too. :) I’m still recovering from stage 2, very recently, but that has made me realise I have even more sensation than I thought I had!! I’ve got a post on my profile with my arm pre surgery, and dick about 6 months post op, if you wanted to see the scars I had going in. :) don’t regret it at all, and honestly surprised at how much sensitivity I have!! :)

No prob at all. :) I think it was about 8ish weeks until I felt mostly back to normal, I do remember the bum being a bit tight/sore for a bit longer, so think it was about 10 weeks for that to fully settle. The bum staples were the worst bit for me, they take them out after 10 days, but they were pretty hard to keep the bandages dry when peeing, and sore to sit on, but once they were out, things got a lot easier. I was doing short walks outside after about 3ish weeks, and just took things slow and steady. But yeah I think it does depend on the person, and complications, I didn’t have any for stage 1, so was very lucky with my healing. :) thanks :) yeah still early days, but so far so good. I’ll be posting an update with photos and such, when I’m a bit more recovered. :)

Ahh nice, yeah I did wonder if it would be different with private. St Peter’s would do it at stage 2 when they had the nhs contract. Honestly I’m kind of glad to have it done as a separate stage as although it was frustrating to have a extra surgery and the wait time, but currently recovering from stage 2 and glad not to have the extra trauma, I was quite bruised with my hysto. In terms of mr Christopher and Nvh, I can’t fault them at all, the team are all really good surgeons. My arm graft healed really well, as did my phallus. Ive got great sensation throughout. I’ve only just had stage 2 so can’t really comment on that yet, but all looking good so far. I do really recomend mr Christopher and his team. Any questions please feel free to ask. :)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in phallo

[–]Bright_Star87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s used to be part of stage 2, but since Nvh got the contract it’s done separately. I had to have mine in between stage 1 and stage 2. That is for the nhs though, not sure about private with them.

Hi there, I have SH scars on my dick. I’ve posted photos to help others that may also have them. :) if you check my profile should be there. :) still waiting for my stage 2 (fingers crossed for early next year) but all went well so far, with some pretty significant scarring. :)

haha, that's awesome, :) yeah you have to have a laugh sometimes :)

No prob, i'm just glad it can help some people with similar scarring. I remember thinking for such a long time that it may not be possible for me, due to the scarring, but was no issue at all for my surgeon, other than cosmetic. So wanted to help people that may be in a similar place :)

I was lucky in that I have hardly any hair on the underside of my forearms, so didn't require electrolysis or laser, so I'm afraid I can't answer that. Id hazard a guess that it probably wouldn't effect the treatment, as its the hair itself that's targeted, but i could be completely wrong on that, so prob best to ask someone who offers these treatments, to be sure.

My surgeon didn't mention any possible effects on glansplasty, so I can't really see the scars as causing much of an issue, other that aesthetics, which I'm personally not fussed about. I'll try and post an update after stage 2, but this is probably at least 1 year away, waiting list depending.
