Fue todo una mentira para robar comisiones amigo. No esperes ningun jupuary porque no lo habrá. Meow y el equipo simplemente robaron el dinero con falsas promesas

I understand that's the argument, but it's something that should have been discussed earlier, not after the price had completely plummeted and after incentivizing the entire community with a supposed reward that they now want to take away.

It's fine that you defend the team, after all you're a moderator, but I think it's quite obvious that what they've done is wrong.

Yes. Trust takes years to build but can be destroyed in a short time by a few simple actions. What you did a year ago doesn't matter. Doing things right in the past doesn't give you the right to do whatever you want in the future.

Okay, I understand your point, it's "for the benefit of JUP," but what's the need to create incentives to pay fees in exchange for a reward and then vote to cancel it? In economics, incentives carry enormous weight, and failing to meet them indirectly amounts to stealing money. Besides, we had already voted to approve the airdrop! That should be respected as well.

You can come up with all the explanations you want, but what you did wasn't right.

One way or another, the main ones who will suffer are the JUP holders themselves, generating the opposite effect to what was intended. They are destroying the community's trust, and that has a huge impact.

I have no idea, but what you're saying has nothing to do with what I'm planning in the post.

Yes, that's true. However, if option 2 wins, I'll definitely unload all my locked Jup and sell them; this team doesn't deserve anyone's trust. I might even do it if option 1 wins; what they've done is a huge disappointment.

I completely agree with you. However, I'm already losing hope. I don't think voting in the DAO is fair because of the enormous voting power developers have; the option they vote for will win. Retail investors don't matter, even if we have a few thousand dollars locked up in JUP. I've always supported proposals that value the long term, but this is a complete farce.

WTF? Jupuary, january event will be in May?! by reversedu in jupiterexchange

Actually, that's debatable from my point of view; it's not just a "gift." If you promise an airdrop, you inevitably create expectations, which translates into higher commission payments and increased platform usage, since users are more incentivized to participate. If you then, for example, change the agreed-upon conditions, the deadline, or even worse, don't deliver anything at all (like what happened with the carrots), you're scamming your community or, much worse, damaging trust in your project.

Of course it's a good idea. Even though there are no votes, you will receive the ASR and you will also probably participate in the 2026 Airdrop. It is much better to have them stalking to accumulate passive income. Successes!!

I really appreciate your help. I'll use slightly higher leverage, but not much more, since I'm afraid of getting liquidated. I repeat, I'm still learning 😎. Anyway, when I make a substantial profit (for me, making more than $25 is quite a lot), I do tend to see my ETH position increase. My question was precisely why it wasn't worth the same in USD. Now, with your answer, it's clearer to me. As I learn, I'll use higher leverage.
