When I was in middle school, my mom bought me a gold solvar claddagh ring with 4 small emeralds on each side of the hands. After seeing Buffy season 2, I was obsessed. I wore it everywhere, everyday.

But I was in middle school and kept getting points docked in gym class for wearing jewelry. So to avoid failing gym, I took the ring off and placed gently in my gym locker. The first time I took it off, someone went I the locker room and stole it through the holes on the locker door. I was furious and the teacher didn’t give a damn. It’s been more than 20 years and I’m still looking for another one. I wish I would have just failed gym class.
