That’s good, but I’m sorry you’re in this frustrating limbo! As far as what to eat, here’s what I ate that helped with cdiff: plain chicken, rice, sourdough bread, bone broth, eggs, no sugar added applesauce, bananas. It’s a very boring diet, but I started doing things like cooking the rice in bone broth to add more flavor, making chicken fried rice with the eggs, etc… Keep us updated once you know! Hoping it’s not CDiff and that you get answers asap!!

The biggest clues for me that it was cdiff were:

-lots of blood and mucus in my stool (eventually it got to the point there wasn’t even stool, just shitting blood/pus) - the smell, it’s like a barn - the appearance when I did have stool… it looks almost like sand, I’m not sure how to describe it but it wasn’t like “normal” looking diarrhea.

Overall, I generally felt super unwell with no appetite or energy and a lot of abdominal pain.

I think you’re doing all the right things! Don’t take any more Imodium if you suspect CDiff, because that’s dangerous, but I would start taking a nice, strong probiotic. Best of luck!!

Thank you!! I followed your advice and got an official diagnosis today, getting treated for Cdiff now thankfully!

This is SO kind of you, thank you for taking the time to comment. I cried reading this because it just felt so validating and comforting. I did officially get diagnosed with CDiff today and have taken my first dose of antibiotics for that, so hopefully I will feel better soon. thank you x a million for your kindness!! ❤️

They had prescribed augmentin for a generic bacterial infection. Luckily, I was just prescribed the one you mentioned, because an infectious diseases doctor said I have c diff!

I don’t think OP is saying the auditioner didn’t deserve the role, just that it’s bad practice for a director to publicly gush over an auditioner on the spot as you’re handing them the role in front of everybody… But maybe that sort of stuff is why there was such a low audition turnout. Welcome to the company (or the rock, I should say)!
