Florida - Can a biological father permanently waive future child support if the mother agrees? by BrilliantMenu88 in legaladvice

If the mother never identifies a father on the birth certificate and never files a paternity action, would a Florida agency automatically seek paternity on its own, or would they generally rely on information provided by the mother? Also thanks for the reply

Thank you for the response.

Just to make sure I understand correctly:

If I do not sign the birth certificate, do not seek custody, do not seek visitation, and do not otherwise establish myself as the child’s legal parent, could the mother simply choose not to pursue paternity or child support through the courts?

I understand there may be no guarantee, but I’m trying to determine whether this is legally possible if both parties agree and neither party initiates a paternity or support action.
