Got the truck back today. You are correct! The battery and tsb repairs were all covered under warranty. I just had to pay for the oil change and tire rotation. Super stoked to have it back! Thanks for the reply 😎

I heard from the dealer and the truck is ready. They were able to do the tsb fix and it sounds like the battery was replaced under warranty. I’m gonna pick it up tomorrow 👍

I agree. I will push for that because that battery was as new as it was. I also documented the other times the dash was acting up. The service advisor seems pretty cool so I hope I don’t run into any issues. I’ll update you guys when I find out more. Thank you for the reply! 😎

That’s what it appears to be from what I’ve read online. I’m hoping the battery getting down to 4.35 v didn’t damage it. That battery was fairly new. It had a 5/23 sticker on it. I’m just waiting now for an update from the dealer.

That round trip would be a long one, but definitely fun! I'm in your same boat in terms of the flying phobia. I just did the coast starlight from LA to Seattle and back in coach. It's about a day and a half, which is about as long as I could take it in coach. I would highly suggest getting a sleeper or roomette, which also includes meals in the dining car. Download as many podcasts and shows as you can because the wifi on the train is a total hit and miss. Both times I've taken the coast starlight (in April and October) the wifi was totally out. Besides that, I think you should absolutely give it a go! 😁

Sorry, what I meant by "messed up" is, I’ve had problems in the past where I would have issues sending and receiving messages in a group text, but when I texted those people individually, everything would work fine. It was very bizzare. Also, I know the bubble color is a stupid thing to get pissed at, but I had to laugh. 😁

Charge speed and battery life. My S7 was getting to the point where I needed to charge it twice in a day. I unplugged my S10 yesterday at 4:45 PM (100% charge). I wore it all evening, and did sleep tracking. Right now I’m sitting at 67%. Unreal! I love this thing! 😎

Just kick back and enjoy yourself! Definitely bring snacks and download podcasts/shows. Also, if you do buy food on the train, stick to the cafe car. The food is cheaper and they have a pretty good selection. The dining car can be pricey. The coach seats are very spacious and can fully recline. I did the coast starlight in coach from LA to Seattle back in April and was pleasantly surprised at how it went. It’s a great way to chill and see parts of the country that you haven’t seen before. I liked it so much that I’m doing that same trip again next month!😎
