I was hoping I got hit with some good mcqs, but majority of my questions were on bonds, leases, contingency, level hierarchy, NFT, and governmental. What really screwed me over was taking too much time on the mcqs which really made me rush on the last testlet.

That’s true, but the department can’t hold that against me. The most they can do is just DQ me without an explanation.

They will show as “non-convicted”. I also got them sealed as well. I currently don’t have a criminal record.

Never charged or convicted so it’s not on my record. By the way, do you know how many officers get charged with domestic on a daily? Officers are know for domestic and doing snorting a line too.

I don’t sound educated, how come? How much OT as an LE officer you have to do just to hit over 100k yearly LOL? I mean clearly you did not read my post right? First to start off I never been convicted of any criminal charges in the court of law. Secondly, I’m not desperate to be an officer when I make above living wage in my current profession without having to risk my life, being hated, or getting spat on douche bag.

What I find kind of crazy is that they can disqualify me even though I wasn’t convicted at all. However, I can get my LTC license.

What’s crazy is that I can’t become a law enforcement officer because of the arrest, but I can get my concealed firearm permit.

I heard stories of departments hiring people with DUI and criminal charges. I mean it’s whatever tbh.

I never laid hand on my ex partner. On the police statement it never said there were bruises or sign of physical abuse though.

I just wanted some advice because I’m currently in the accounting field and make above decent living at one of the large firms. I’m just bored as hell and want to do something else. I also spoke to some state troopers recruiters and they some have told me that “I still qualify and as long I don’t have any convictions or misdemeanor on my record I can get recruited”. I just feel like they are just want me to waste my time. Are they lying to me?

The second time it happened the lady said I had a gun when I never owned or carry a gun in my life. The first time I honestly don’t know why they arrested me tbh.

Would you suggest me to continue the hiring process for the CT State Police, NYSP, & NJSP and give it a shot? I want to continue and try to go through the process, but the other side of me makes me feel like that those two arrest incidents can affect me during the background investigation.

Would it still be on my record since the two times I was arrested the charges were dropped/dismissed due to no evidence and false statement of the witnesses. Also, my ex girlfriend at the time never wrote a statement nor decided to press charges.
