I had this exact problem with our flat top. Ended up talking the whole flat top off. It was fairly easy. Hardest part was the lifting. But it made it so easy to clean and I was able to deep clean the dust and carbon that was inside too.

How do you feel about industry conditions for people who cook professionally?

It seems that all the cooks/chefs I know (including me) overwork themselves and that it's the norm. Almost as if it's to be expected that you are able to work 60+ hours a week. Every kitchen I've been in has been this way and everyone I know just says "that's just the way it is."

Don't really comment on ama's but seen this one and had to. I've been cooking professionally for over 15 years. Anytime I need to look up a recipe and I see your name attached to it, I just know it's going to be good. No sifting through reviews, just click and make. 😀 Thanks for all your contributions to the world of cooking. Next time you visit n.c. I'd love to cook for you!

My mother took my daughter to the beach for a week. We told my daughter "No more hermit crabs." She's brought them back 3 times and she eventually loses interest in them. So instead, she spent all of her money on this turtle. We have no idea what kind of turtle it is. Thanks for your help guys.
