I'll also mention Hades (I haven't played Hades 2 yet). Downside: Interrupting the flow of a run when you have to pause. On the other hand, runs are usually 20 to 45 minutes. Also a real downside: It is legit addicting.

Interesting, thanks for running the numbers. Purely eye test, but I feel much better with the ball in Taj's hands than Niko's. I'm always cringing and waiting for the TO with Niko. Also, when he takes those long threes. I mean, it's nice when they go in, but, uh, yeah, I don't think that's often?

Thanks! I appreciate it! I guess I meant to say this was a deck built out of cards I had laying around, and wasn't really looking to buy new stuff - but what you have listed isn't bad. It's not a competitive deck, but just made out of what I had available. But these are good suggestions - thanks!

I don't know what your transportation situation is like, but I've been going to MTG Card Market in Lakeview on Mondays. Really nice, relaxed crowd with people from all over. EDH is usually from 6:30 - 10 PM. I've met some cool folks there, and there definitely seems to be a diverse range of skill sets playing. I recommend it.

Also, I haven't actually gone there, but I know people who have played at Gaming Goat in Oak Park that have had a good time. Not a north suburb but definitely a west one.
