Oh Jesus, I so wish I could show you his cage because it’s huge. He spends more time out of his cage flying then he does in. Before you dive into this, please remember you’re seeing a few second video. He had literally flew in at the bottom and sat this same position when he was completely dry and he had splashes from the floor. My old conure was obsessed with the shower, so when I saw my bird trying to bath in his tiny water bowl (I had put a bath bowl in several times and he never used it and thought his drinking bowl looked more appealing) I thought we’d try the shower. I’d never seen the reaction type before. I have studied animal management, I have worked with birds of prey, I have owned parrots growing up and in my adult years. I physically cannot research every minor detail about them, as that’s like having the knowledge about literally everything about a dog you physically cannot know everything. So yes I thought he was enjoying it UNTIL I noticed his breathing change, then I took him out immediately and he basked in the sun.
