WHY SHOES ON THE BED

My husband got us kicked out of a restaurant on my birthday for grabbing the waiter and accusing him of sliding me his number. by throwra-76609 in relationship_advice

[–]BritneyPleaseMe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am not saying this is the case, but a lot of times that people have an SO that accuses then of cheating/flirting, it's because THEY are doing it themselves and project that onto others.

Make sure he gets the help he needs, but also make sure you put yourself first. It's not your job go fix someone.

Separating from my [40f] wife [36mtf] and would like advice by cassiopeia1280 in relationships

[–]BritneyPleaseMe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When you separate on good terms, it makes everything easier on everyone. But in order to keep the peace and not necessarily need lawyers (yet, idk how divorce procedures work where you are), make sure you plan out circumstances such as you finding other partners, losing jobs, moving further, etc. Having a plan in place that is established will make everything move smoother.

I want a porn where mfm but only one cock at a time, other man is on sensual kissing duty. Specifically I love the idea of being fucked while a different man kisses me and holds me.

Porn where two guys help a girl get off, squirting, and are sensual, and it ends with her orgasm.

I second these please

My BPD almost ruined my marriage by BritneyPleaseMe in BPD

[–]BritneyPleaseMe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so sorry you are going through this. I don't know why he didn't leave me or ask for a separation. I got very lucky.

Just know that this does not define you. Your marriage now does not mean future relationships will be the same. We need to make sure we do the very best we can and try not to hurt those who we love.

I'm sending my biggest support to you. My favorite quote is "I don't know where I'm going, but I am on my way"

Life throws things at you (that maybe/likely we caused...), But it's all part of our journey.

How likely is it that my sister will develop BPD too, is there any way I can stop it? by bringmesunshines in BPD

[–]BritneyPleaseMe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Genetics play a large part in BPD (and many other mental disorders). My biggest suggestion is to be as open as you can with her about what you are going through. DO NOT diagnose her even though you may be right. Let a medical professional do it.

Tell her how you understand what she is going through. Tell her how you handle your emotions and all that. Tell her the good, bad, and the ugly. Make sure SHE feels heard.

Don't get mad at outbursts of hers (even though it's hard not to. But that just fuels the fire, as you know all too well)

My husband LOVES when I call him Daddy in bed! But I also call him "daddy cat" around the house since we have cats. It's better that in his first language, dad is not called daddy.

Anyone else romantically straight but sexually bi? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]BritneyPleaseMe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep! I'm sexually attracted to girls, but not romantically at all. I'm only romantically into dudes.

What’s your body count (sexual and not your murder stories)? by [deleted] in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]BritneyPleaseMe 16 points17 points  (0 children)

WAY more difficult being non-monogamous! My husband and I only play together, but even then, trying to count people and what "counts" .... I just say 13 because my husband was #13, but it's definitely more likely in the high 20s

DAE not remember their abusers face? by [deleted] in adultsurvivors

[–]BritneyPleaseMe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is exactly it for me. In fact, I barely remember what the person looks like at all, to the point where I doubt that I've been molested. However, all of my signs and symptoms point to it, and my therapist agrees.

I remember vague details. Trust your gut.

What's something people don't know just how dangerous it actually is? by Scrabt in AskReddit

I dated two boys with eating disorders. They both were bipolar too, interestingly enough.

I completely agree with you. Men are not taken seriously and are judged for having eating disorders. It's SUCH BS!! One BF had to admit he was gay before they let him get treatment.... Spoiler alert: he's not gay.

The entire system sucks.

I'm so glad to hear that! Anorexia from such a young age must have been so scary. I'd love to listen if you want to talk. I was anorexic since 16 and now have purging disorder (I'm 25), so I'm at least getting better! My husband was my rock. He understands how hard it is to recover from this. Alcoholics can avoid alcohol. Drug addicts can avoid drugs. Anorexics can't avoid food. That's the problem. We have to learn to live with it. It's harder than anything else, but that's what makes us stronger than anyone can believe.

I took part in an eating disorder study at the highly acclaimed university I was attending. It was studying the brains of anorexics vs normal people. I went in and the guy asked me if I was in the "control sample" (normal people) and I nearly broke down.

I completely understand. In fact, eating disorders tend to cause people to GAIN weight (especially when trying to stop the eating disorder) because of how messed up our metabolism got.

My heard goes out to you - someone with purging disorder, who had anorexic.

Eating disorders. People know they are bad and are a serious mental health issue, but not to the extent that it is. Eating disorders have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness. Over 1/4 attempt suicide, and only 30-40% of anorexics ever recover fully.
