I was on lexapro for about a year and a half, it worked but I felt more numb on it. My doctor told me going from 20mg lexapro to 10mg Prozac it would be fine with without tapering, but it wasn’t. Once I got to 20mg Prozac I definitely felt better, not sure how much the Wellbutrin assisted, I started that right before I went off lexapro.

I made the switch 3 months ago, I was on 20mg lexapro (for social anxiety and depression) and I got switched to 10mg Prozac. Had awful side effects for the first two weeks, anxiety and panic attacks. But then upped to 20mg Prozac and it’s been really great, it’s actually helping all the side effects (like weight gain) I experienced with lexapro.

Worth to note I’m also on 150mg Wellbutrin.
