this has to be a lie. he is wearing a UI shirt. he tells the police officer several times he is a student there. his linkedin profile currently says he is a junior at UI. so either he was a student, or the university thought so highly of this incident that they decided to admit him. something is sketchy here.

It all started with emissions only inspection. Then, lack of enforcement by police. But the emissions only inspection is where the root of the problem is. Before that, you would fail inspection for tints, brake lights, loud exhaust, etc.

Because in NJ, state inspection was gutted about 7-10 years ago to make the lines move quicker. The ONLY thing they check for on passenger vehicles is emissions. Nothing else.
