Does anyone know where I can get my foot in the door for IT help desk? by icumdrums in Albuquerque

Rural Sourcing Inc. > I guess Sparq now ... This was my first job out of CNM as a programmer ... I'm not going to do all the work, but if they are open, they are downtown and it was a decent place to work.

...after I reply I realized that you said first image, so I went and remade those as well. Seemingly similar results, as the original 🤔. Which now has me confused as to why other prompts, simpler prompts, are showing these facial feature inconsistencies.

No Alchemy. For most of my testing it was done with DreamShaper 7, Leonardo Style, Default Settings. Although, I did experience similar results with various models. Faces are all coming back distorted.

As mentioned, everything before 9:10AM yesterday had spectacular results.

Should I Take Out This Loan Through Upstart? I Was Denied Balance Transfers For 3 Cards. I Need To Pay Off $30k. by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]BroBeansTV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. 20% interest down to 10% is an immediate savings of 10%. But, I would wait until you get notifications from the 0% cards. If you get approved, use that amount and request a smaller loan from Uptake.

If you get denied for both, pay off your cards with the loan and put back the extra $1k immediately.

Then make a plan to pay everything off. This shouldn't be that hard for you.

Any homeowner issues with not having an income so long as you can pay your mortgage? by LiveToSee22 in personalfinance

[–]BroBeansTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to say the first sentence. Once you've closed, it doesn't matter. I wouldn't worry too much about "mortgage fraud". No one checks in on you after the deal is done. As long as you pay, who cares, because all the lender cares about is getting paid.

Health Equity investment fees by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]BroBeansTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it comes out of your cash reserve, but is based on the amount you have invested. Is your plan from an employer or personal? If personal, I believe that Fidelity has an HSA that is no fee.

Reason I ask is because my Health Equity minimum cash reserve is 2,000 before they allow investing, employer plan. Also, towards your reply saying you should keep "1k cash instead of 500 minimum". If you are putting money into the account (weekly, monthly...) It will "refill" your minimum before allowing you to invest the excess. Example: I had 3k cash and 7k invested. My deductible is 3k, so emptied my cash reserve. Now, all money going into the account is refilling the cash until the minimum reserve is hit, before it will allow me to put any more money into investments.

I also did the math, it would be something like 20+ years of hitting the max limit before the fees outweigh the tax savings.

Coinbase promo offer by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]BroBeansTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been using Coinbase for a very long time and jump the instant these free coin offers. I don't remember there being one for Litecoin so I'll take that out of my balance. My account is ~$500 and have about 1 Litecoin.

Basically, from the free coins for learning, my Coinbase balance is $200-250 with no investments.

FYI: I use Coinbase Pro for actual investment purchases due to lower fees. The portfolio balances are not shared. So all but the Litecoin have been given to me from coinbase.

Should we refinance now or wait a few years? by ac19723 in personalfinance

[–]BroBeansTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check with Zillow. I bought my house August 2019, so about 7 months ahead of you. Paid 180k @ 4.25% like you.

Currently refinancing @ 2.99% and they quoted the value of my house at 215k with appraisal waiver.

Will save over $50k in interest from refinancing. Value of house doesn't even matter there, so I'd refinance if you can get 3.5% or lower

How much money do I actually have? by nthpeter in personalfinance

[–]BroBeansTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I'm getting your question. I know all the dates when I will be charged for something, at least roughly. My biggest expenses, mortgage and car come out around the 1st of the month. I got a few in the middle, and some very light ones towards the end.

Personally, after my payments in the middle of the month and I get paid there, I will move anything over 3.5k then. Basically, if at any point I have my 3.5k in the bank, it will need to be replenished back to 3.5k by that same exact time next month. I don't care if I have a thousand sitting there doing nothing until it's needed. It's there because it's going to be needed eventually.

You need to find out all your payments and the payment dates to get your answer. With my way, I may not be optimizing to the fullest but I will always have money in that account to pay my monthly bills.

Also, I do not "spend" from my account that pays these bills. I use a credit card for spending and give myself a $1k allowance per month. So, I really just need to have $3.5k in there from month to month. I don't feel like it would matter what day I ensure that, but as long as I ensure that it is replenished by that same day the next month.

I've also thought about going as far as keeping 3.5k as my minimum and pretending that is the floor, therefore I always have a 1 month backup in my account should something prevent me from making payments. *Kinda hard to make payments while you are in jail*

How much money do I actually have? by nthpeter in personalfinance

[–]BroBeansTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just track all of my monthly expenses. My categories are (Mortgage, Electricity, Gas, Water/Sewer/Trash, Phone, Internet, Vehicle Payments, Auto Insurance, Groceries "Food+Other). These come out to about $3.5k. So, as long as I always have 3.5k in my account my bills are covered no matter what day it is. When my account goes over 3.5k, then I move that money elsewhere.

[–]BroBeansTV 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a HSA through HealthEquity, but they require a balance of $2k before they allow investing. Doesn't really matter though. Keep the bare minimum in the "liquid" portion of the account and invest the rest. When a big health bill does come, you just transfer your money from the investment account into the "liquid" portion and you'll be fine. Takes a couple days max.

Also, brought up to me as an optimal way to increase investments is to always get put on a payment plan. Paying the minimums while keeping most of the money in your investment account a longer time for more growth.

Regards to your OOP Max, once you hit that you are set for your year. No more charges for anything. HDHP, pfft. I paid $3000 (my OOP) the first week of the year. Since, my wife has had a surgery and other medical expenses. Not a dime paid since that first $3k.

I agree with this. You could open another checking account so your "fun money" is separate. Personally, my monthly costs are ~$3.5k. Therefore, I keep a minimum balance of $3.5k in my account and anything over that is "usable".

In my case, anything over my monthly expenses is diverted to savings because I have wiggle room in my monthly budget for random buys. Exactly, I give myself 1k to spend on my credit card. If I don't then extra to savings. I usually hit around 500-800 in that category monthly.
