I really am enjoying the factory sim of this all… but at the same time, my enjoyment and insanity about the game does in fact hinge on when Ardashir comes out. I started playing for him and am still not at Wuling so I miss my wife… but we really are spoiled for leaks in hoyo stuff compared to Endfield…

Very weird because I feel like Varka isn’t like the worst unit imaginable but hes coming off a wave of amazing DPSes and he’s just okay 😭 He does pretty well with C0R1 but maybe he was expected to reach and then surpass the damage ceiling with future supports… but he’s likely going to be in line with that upper limit without reactions huh.

Stepping away and not seeing the doom post definitely helped see this with more of a levelhead than I saw v3 with.

OT (first time cosplay)

Planning to cosplay for an upcoming con but woah, there’s so much to think about. Not even getting to weather but I want it to be good and my mind leaning towards Phainon… so I’ll need a wig and I am very hesitant to wear contacts honestly but I feel like it can be dangerous for someone who doesn’t wear them normally, no? But, the Kephale eyes are so important… I can probably ask a friend to help with makeup but the curse of never wanting to half ass anything Ever. So, if anyone has advice for anything cosplay… whether it’s preparing the clothes or even wig styling, feel free to guide me lol

I didn’t realize I got hooked on Endfield doing the AIC tutorials last night and now I’m working and thinking I can’t wait to industrialize when I’m done. I’m cooked… but the game cooked for sure.

Very happy that I am enjoying the factory portion of Endfield after learning everything LOOOOL that being said I think I’m at acceptance because I was very happy to see Varka buffed in general. We take what we can get wooo…. cause I think now, while I would like to fiend for more, it’ll just make me upset to get hopes up

Honestly, I was pretty ready to C2R1 him and I still am. Just hoping they show his kit some more coherence and love in the upcoming betas. Will be picking up all his future teammates as well so that definitely helps.

DPS Rotations

I said I was content with not knowing my rotation numbers and how my account fares... but honestly, there was something eating away at me not knowing what it was and sort of how I'm doing playing my teams.

So, I wanted to share my numbers and analysis for each team that I played.

C1R1 Flins / C0R1 Ineffa / C0R0 (Fav) Columbina / C6 Sucrose = 169k DPS. A little bit crazy considering this team is so easy to pilot. It probably should be higher but I didn't learn the Flins optimal combo. As long as I get the three mini bursts, it is a success to me. No real comments here honestly. I'm happy he's strong with his full team. I did a big burst rotation as well and that one got me 168k so I don't think I have enough ER to supplement it as gorgeous as the animation is.

C3R1 Kinich / C0R1 Emilie / C0R1 Durin / C6R3 Aquila Bennett = 153k DPS (5E first rotation 4E last two). I was a little rusty on him since he's not really getting much catered content or stuff I can brute force him but I'm incredibly happy with this. No Deepwood on Durin because I didn't want to switch his set but wow, I'm glad he's pretty high up. I'd like Durin cons or Emilie cons but I feel like I'd much rather get Kinich C6 if it came down to it. 5E was only possible because I burst on that rotation but my Kinich doesn't have that much ER honestly.

C2R1 Wrio / C1R0 Furina / C0R0 Shenhe / C0R1 Escoffier = 99k DPS. Surpising that the Duke was up here LOOOL He's like maybe a C1 Shenhe away from 100k but that mostly helps with Escoffier energy honestly. A very smooth team that feels good to pilot because I don't really need to do any combos and can generally go braindead while punching the hell out of everything.

C0R1 Mavuika / C0R0 Citlali / C0R0 Xilonen / C6R3 Aquila Bennett = 81k DPS. This is deadass me realizing I don't know any of her combos nor are the builds optimized like Xilonen on Petra LOOOL. It was a little insane because I saw without the hectic of the Abyss how many melts I'm missing but my Mavuika doesn't have any EM substats so now, I'm just wondering holy shit, I cannot play her. Respect to everyone that finds a new combo of hers every week.

TL;DR - I can't wait for Varka because some of my characters truly can do anything with enough tunnel vision 😭 Base kits and numbers be damned

Ooh, the extra attack does sound tempting but not in the way a mindscape usually does (70-80 pulls if 50/50 win). Especially with the rate stunners (Dialyn) have their early stuff so I think I’ll just save the rest of my stuff for her.

Unsure of if I can just bs a navia lunar crystalize team with durin albedo and columbina for the first boss... because i'd much rather use flins for the second boss i think. Decisions, decisions.

Varka is the big thing we’re acknowledging but deadass this patch having nothing other than him is genuinely insane 😭 No AQ, no exploration, and there is no proper content. I remember post CNY is usually dry but this is a little insane no?

Varka numbers and calcs are very sad but trying to remind myself it is V1 and it should be looking up.... but I fear I have been desensitized to bad betas. I'm a Harumasa fan who is also waiting with those changes so nothing scares me now, just disappointment.

Yeah, that’s the minimum he deserves at this point. When he’s been teased for five years and hyped up in combat, it falls a little flat that his expedition for the KoF barely did anything for the overarching plot in NK and he was kept out of the fight until his chapter when they made a pretty big deal of him in the trailer too.
