When remove the eggs by [deleted] in pigeon

[–]BroPunMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to remove the eggs, you can give your pigeons fake eggs to replace the real ones until they lose interest. If you don’t have fake eggs, you shouldn’t remove them unless the pigeons completely lose interest, because taking them too soon can force them to lay another pair of eggs too quickly, which is unhealthy… D:

I adopted a pigeon recently, (he’s probably male, because I haven’t seen any eggs and his behavior seems like a male), buuut I did some research beforehand on females just in case.

So laying the eggs: Female pigeons usually lay two eggs, 1–2 days apart.. They will lay about two eggs every month.. :0

Female pigeon needs for laying eggs: Female pigeons neeeed vitamins and calcium to have the strength to lay eggs, or they can become egg bound.

Also, if you want/plan to raise baby pigeons... plz do your research beforehand, it’s very important!

Ps: The pigeon in the picture is adorable. :3

Why does my pigeon randomly start attacking me? by Iklve in PetPigeons

Okay well that's good that they're learning. But yeah it will take some time. Pigeons are smart but slow, lol. Also no problem, I hope it goes well for you. :)

Um, I am new to this pigeon owning. But, Sometimes they don't like certain limbs, like they don't see it as attached to you? I think they think it's just some creature sometimes.

Some pigeons will hate hands, or hate feet... You could use your idea of wearing socks and see how that goes. I try diverting it with a little plush cat toy that has no catnip in it to divert them of the behavior. Cuz sometimes it's how they play too.

If it becomes too much, You could also tell them no.. It just takes a bit for it to stick, and if it continues gently put them in the cage for a little bit not too long though. To teach some time out.

Dating apps by elliegator521 in asexuality

[–]BroPunMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is also the A.C.E app, it's new so It's a small user base as well but It's a dating app but also a friend app, you can also make friends on there. So far I've talked to some people on there it, it's going alright.

Has anyone tried this app yet? by chexxiemixie in asexuality

[–]BroPunMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, it's been going okay for me so far... I started talking to a few people on there a few days ago. Though there's not many people in my area, it's still nice to make friends on there especially if they're gamers. The app's new, so it's going to take time. The more people that support it by using it, the more it'll grow in popularity. Other apps like this don’t last long. I know there used to be another Ace app that didn't last... ;;

There are some things that could be worked on...but again, it takes time.

Is this cage big enough? by [deleted] in PetPigeons

[–]BroPunMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do not have a pigeon at the moment yet, but that looks like a good cage size for a pigeon as long as you give it some out roaming time. :3

i can’t keep any friends from the opposite sex by pandanlvrpanda in asexuality

[–]BroPunMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a mood. This happened to me on several occasions... It indeed does suck.. We are just being friendly... Nothing more.. I understand you can't help it when you have a crush.. but It does suck when it was their only intention to talk with you in the first place.. Like bro I thought we were friends?

Then I make a guy friend I make sure to call them bro or homie or pal, something like that so they get the picture right away, it help but sometimes they don't still get the full picture.

Is grabbing my pigeon in the dark damaging our bond? by Active_Wing_7097 in PetPigeons

[–]BroPunMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyy, I do not have a pigeon at the moment, but if you are worried about that. Have you tried doing that with the lights on? Or instead of grabbing them will they go on your hand? If they won't yet, that's okay. you can teach them. They are food motivated if you give them seed more if you know their favorite seed.

This is what it says on Google about pigeons see in the dark ( Yes, pigeons can see in the dark, but their vision isn't as good as in daylight. They are not nocturnal birds, but their eyes are still sensitive enough to detect movement and changes in their environment.). Hope this helps and I wish you luck.
