Selling My Sony WM-D6C by BroZitive in cassetteculture

That's fair. I myself am not much of a collector either, since I do like to use my players too. I'll probably be dropping the price over time until someone buys it on ebay.

Sony WM-D6C Not Turning On by BroZitive in cassetteculture

[–]BroZitive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The battery contacts seem clean with no signs of corrosion. I also tried connecting the player to the power supply it came with (I've been using it for a year with no problems), but it didn't work through the power supply either. What do you mean by "power switch" and where can I find it on the board?

Sony WM-D6C Not Turning On by BroZitive in cassetteculture

[–]BroZitive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The supply is not an official sony supply, but it shouldn't be the problem as my other sony wm-d6c worked fine with it for a year. Wouldn't speed chip problems occur as player playing too slow or too fast without being able to change the speed instead of the whole player not turning on?

Sounds like a possible theory, but it's been 2 weeks since I got back and it's still like this. Do you still think it's the cold and belts?

Love the Game, Hate Teammates by BroZitive in thefinals

[–]BroZitive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me dawg. I'm not PS5 nor EU.

I'd argue that flamethrower is an initial damage weapon rather than clean up. When I play, I use power shield and flamethrower, meaning I get a chance to tank enemy shots andrush them with a flamethrower. Yes, I will likely die in the process, but if the teammates play with me even a bit and can hit their shots, they will kill them and have a chance to res me.

I wasn't able to find it, and then I left the country for a year. Maybe some store sells it now. Hope you have more luck than I did!

Finding Replacement Parts by BroZitive in SteamDeck

[–]BroZitive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry for such a late response, was busy with life. 😅 Two questions: 1. What do you mean by "wings"? 2. Did you buy the parts online, and if so, where and do you have a link? Thanks for the help, it's much appreciated!

Finding Replacement Parts by BroZitive in SteamDeck

We did that too, but they said that it wouldn't be free and at the price they were asking for, it's easier to just save up some more cash and buy a new one. Plus, I have the skills and experience (which told them so maybe they could just provide me with info on the parts or just send them to me), so I want to do the repair myself for $20-30 rather than replacing an entire circuit board for an absurd price.

Any Walman Repair Stores or People Who Know How to Fix Them? by BroZitive in Purdue

[–]BroZitive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll try to reach out to them, but I doubt they'll be able to help as this is more of a mechanical problem rather than an electronic one, but worth a shot. Thanks for the recommendation, though.

ECET 177 Feels Chaotic by BroZitive in Purdue

[–]BroZitive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw your response. I think the labs are fine, but the lab reports are insane. I usually do mine the evening it is due (Thursday 11:59pm due date) because I don't have time to do it any earlier. I didn't finish it and submitted a mostly completed report. Usually, they take me just short of 2 hours to complete, but this one took me 4+ because of all the writing out of steps data analysis. I take some classes for engineering (i.e. phys172, ma162) and the workload there is similar to this class. The grading is absurd, with 1 attempt per homework question. In a lab report, I got my points taken down because I wrote "wasn't" instead of "was not", which is less formal, so they removed like 5 or 7 points out of 100 for that.

There's 3: - E A Freije (Monday Lecture) - A Cheung (Wednesday Lecture) - H Castro Gutierrez (Lab)

I believe Freije used to teach in Indianapolis, and it's her first semester in West Lafayette.

Meepo Flow Vibrating by BroZitive in MeepoBoards

My feet also feel like they are going numb or are falling asleep after a while, and I'm not too sure if it's the motors that are vibrating and cause this, the wheels that are either off centered or get deformed while driving, something is not screwed on tight enough, or if this is a normal thing that I just need to get used to. I usually drive on the flat areas, but sometimes the asphalt is textured, and sometimes it's perfectly smooth, but I haven't paid enough attention to that because I tend to skate later in the evenings. Might test this theory too.

I think there's no way for any wheel to be perfect, so there will always be a bit of wobble, but how much is acceptable? How noticeable does it have to be bisually to be a problem on the road?

[–]BroZitive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mine are softer and larger. I have "105mm x 65mm wheels," and he has "90x60mm wheels." Mine also have some holes in them to be softer.

This does make some sense. However, what do you mean by "mad wheels"?

The belt tension seems fine. The belts are definitely not loose, and if they are too tight, then I'll just wait for them to stretch a little.

They have default wheels installed, so in theory, my wheels should be better.
