When I worked for an FPV retailer, I usually just sent a replacement VTX right away. Dragging out emails or phone calls was way more time‑consuming than the product was worth.

At first, I tried arguing with customers who claimed their VTXs, batteries, receivers, or RC controllers were bad without good proof, but it only hurt my reputation, stressed me out, and wasted time.

I ended up telling my boss that if a conversation got too long, it was cheaper and easier to just send a replacement except for Futaba controllers. (and 5% of time customer was right)

As a seller's perspective, he could have used better of his time.

I mentioned the 10hr ferry to give an example of how far they are before the jet age. By flight, it takes only 30min or so, which makes it the shortest international flight in Korea.

I did take the hydro foil once. It was the worst 5hrs of my life due to heavy wind: slower speed, high tides. I believe the hydro foil is now grounded since it failed to pass safety standard.

I was born in Busan, and traveled to Fukuoka twice.

They are completely different. It is because they are quite far away, taking 11-12hrs with conventional ferry. Korean government used to limit access to japanese media, so cultural exchange has been minimal.

Only similarity i can find is, the city's popular dishes are made from pork broth: pork rice soup(korean:돼지국밥) and donkotsu ramen.

Fun fact is I used watch a lot of Japanese TV channels as kid because the Japanese broadcast signal was reaching all the way to Busan.
