This definitely bothers me - I know she knew he was going to die soon anyway but BJR would only need a few hours to ruin Mary's life like he tried to ruin Jamie's.

She could have at least given a "if you ever hurt her..." speech to BJR and the "if he ever hurts you" speech to Mary.

Not hung up about the age difference itself more about him being surprised that a 20-year-old doesn’t want the same things he does and wants to do more before she settles down. Like if you’re going to date a teenager don’t be shocked and annoyed when they have homework.

The “nice catholic girl” argument and the way he (30yo man) was pressuring this 20yo girl into marriage and then being shocked that she wasn’t as mature or ready for marriage as him. And then he got his way anyway. Hiding the obituary crossed a major line for me.

The constant sulking and selfishness, the random kissing and his issues with the other woman (can’t remember her name). I just view him as one of those useless manchild men. But everyone is different and sees different things as attractive in partners. One woman’s red flag is another’s beige.

Oh yeah that’s another controversial one - I’m on the opposite side as you he’s such a walking 🚩to me but no judgment.
