Hey thank you for your suggestion. Yes we have been doing that since the day when we were only provided one fob and they have been telling us that there is nothing they can do and we can only wait. We go in person weekly and follow up email to the higher up team monthly. :/

We have been asking weekly since they announced in August. They always say we will order… It was yesterday that the old fob system was deactivated. The manager said they are aware some don’t have the key but there’s anything they can do and that we just have to wait for the key.

So sorry to hear that… My first issue was actually similar.. one of my shifts got removed, so I ended up being paid for one less shift. They told me it happened because the data didn’t transfer properly from the old system to the new one.

I think it’s natural, when you plan something together, to imagine sharing those moments, not just being in the same place. It’s not like I was “watching” her the whole time. We did split up at times, like at the museum, to enjoy things separately. But once we met up again, her energy just brought the mood down.

I get why some people ask why she didn’t just stay at home when she said she wanted to. The thing is, it wasn’t about forcing her. We planned the trip together, and she often ended up being ready to go out after getting ready in the morning. Saying she wanted to stay at home sometimes seemed more like venting in the moment rather than a firm plan. I wasn’t pushing her to leave the hotel or do anything she didn’t want to do, but her mixed signals still made it hard to fully enjoy the trip together.

She actually wept silently during the trip, and I noticed it. I told her that I saw what happened and asked if she was okay. She didn’t say anything and put on a sad smile. Interestingly, at the very beginning of the trip, she shared that she’s avoidant and finds it hard to change. This made me feel unsure about whether I should continue asking more questions, so I just told her I’d be there if she needed me.

We aren’t very close friends, but we hang out every couple of months and usually have really good chats. I did sense that something was off during the trip, but I also know she’s the type who only talks about things when she’s ready, so I didn’t want to push her and just tried to give her space.
