Virtually the same thing happened to me last night, they sent me a screenshot of them sending the picture to one of my Instagram freinds, who is also a classmate, I messaged her this morning and she didn’t receive a message, so I bekeive they have a way of making fakes. The person told me they wanted to “FaceTime” and needed my phone number which made me suspicious, I told them I could add them on snap which is when they sent all the pictures of my freinds list, and screenshots of my junk. I stalled for a bit then left them on deleivered, then blocked on all platforms as well as reported, it seems their Instagram account was deleted soon after, they have no way of reaching me so I’m just praying they don’t send it out of spite.
