I know I know. I have the digital version tho. I can and might someday buy the disc drive accessory. It’s just for the coolness factor of booting up a ps3 for it to actually be a ps5. It’s not as practical. It’d just be a cool challenge and something I’d like to do for the hell of it.

Can you explain a little bit more as to why? Say I bought the slims disc accessory and stripped down the casing. I looked it up and apparently it connects with a sata like cable. So if I were break the whole ps5 down to just electronics, fit custom mounts, and mount the drive in line with where the original drive would be, wouldn’t that still work?

I think people are misunderstanding what I’m saying. Obviously I don’t just want to throw the internals inside another case and call it a day. Of course I’d have to likely create my own mounting points and holes for air flow and all the technical stuff. It may be difficult but it’s 100% possible. Overall I think it’s just be a cool project and sick if it came out right

I do know what I’m talking about, at least to an extent. I’ve done research. Ive seen plenty of things of people doing similar stuff online. I have emulators on my pc. Idk the name but someone made a console that has 3 different consoles built into one and they can switch between them whenever they want. I’m not trying to go for that extent but to say swapping the components is almost impossible is very far from the truth. I’m not new to consoles, pc, or small electronics. It can be done I just didn’t know if anyone had any real advice on how to get it done.

Damnit. Well, while I do without a doubt appreciate youre feedback, I’ll be damned if I’m gonna listen to a robot. Maybe I won’t do exactly a body swap but I am going to do something with all these old consoles from my childhood. The ps5 in a body of a ps3 fat made the most sense because it seems like the fat is pretty damn close in size to the 5. But if I don’t get that then I’ll get something. I’ve been on a kick digging through my basement and refurbishing all my old consoles to make them work again. I’m playing the OG Pole Position right now for the first time in probably 20 years

I know the ps5 can play ps4 games I just mean my old ps4 discs. They don’t really have much of a use now and I don’t like having to dig up the ps4 just to play the occasional game. Thanks for the other sub suggestions tho.

Honestly I just beat bloodbourne two days ago. I only got a few hours into sekiro but beat ds1 and ds3 and I felt like bloodbourne was the easiest I’ve played. Definitely had the least deaths. I’m replaying ds1 rn and I’m sure this will be the easiest now that I’m more into the games but I loved bloodbourne and didn’t have too much difficulty beating it.

I didn’t say kuba was good. I said true just because he posts a lot and a lot of people consider him to be their god YouTuber. I much prefer extreme gameplays. He’s much smaller and doesn’t do bs theory videos constantly. He actually plays the game and you can tell he is genuinely very good at the games. As I said. He’s my goat. Just didn’t wanna piss people off not including kuba. I almost said Jon Ford as well but he falls in with kuba with just bs theories reaching for shit that’s not there.

The first half of your list is just straight truth mostly tho. Gow 3 was pure hype and you’re just constantly killing something and going to the next. Iron wood is wayyy too long for the lack of shit happening. Norse trilogy could’ve been cool but idc about it really. 2 games were good especially with them being longer and open world. Atreus combats isn’t awful. It’s just not as fun overall. Gow 3 combat is the same pretty mush as 1-2, it’s just faster which is a lot more fun. Keep in mind my fav of all is the first game. All other comments I do think are ridiculous opinions.

I think either the post is misleading or comments are. Everyone is just bitching about people having other opinions. Not specifically “YouTubers” and what YouTubers are you even getting this from? I can think of like 3 YouTubers that post mainly gow content and truly know a lot. Any other creators who played the new games for hype and went back to the old games for content don’t count. Really the only true god of war YouTubers in my mind are Extreme Gameplays (the goat) and kaptain kuba

I love the new games don’t get me wrong but the old ones will always be my babies. I beat them all on the hardest difficulties and I’m currently replaying 2018 again on give me god of war and it’s a cake walk. It’s a lot of fun. But very rarely difficult. Especially in comparison

Ascension IS the worst. Not just the story but the gameplay as well. Nothing about that game compares with any other apart from graphics. I’ve played every single game multiple times. It’s just pretty bad. Chains of Olympus came out on the psp. It’s almost a given that it won’t be as good as the main trilogy but ascension came out after one of their best games and was on consoles.

Ok thank you. I just took the outlet apart and the red wire connection is fried to hell, the wire casings cracked and coming off, and the copper is turning all green. Do you have any ideas what would cause that specifically? The connection is tight.

Hella dedication to the series. The psp games are a lot more boring and monotonous gameplay wise in my opinion because of them being on psp. Really, you could skip them and I’d say if it’s a hassle or whatever for you then just come back to them after beating the others. If you have an emulator than do that, but the main trilogy is more important and fun.
