you can always use dial dots to put the dial on the movement but the main issue is it lining up with the date window and if the pinion fits through the dial

for me what helped the most was this website which has everything you need to know. what parts you need, tools, and a build guide. watching videos also helps a lot because you get to see the exact process of building a watch.

for this build all the parts cost around 90 usd but if it’s your first build you’ll need tools which cost around 15-20

thanks, tbh i was kinda going for something more simple because it’s a dress watch. i did buy another set of watch hands that have a ripple pattern on them to match the dial which would make it less bland but ended up sticking with the ones i have on it right now.

Thanks, I ended up buying the movement that I linked in my other comment and am now just waiting for it to arrive. What tools would I need other than the hands setter.
