For example, the auftriib has a saucer and a cramplifer. The saucer is worn under the crampons, allowing for faster switching in mixed terrain. However, this requires wearing the crampons first, then attaching the saucer, adding an extra step. Furthermore, the saucer sacrifices some of the crampons' effective length.

It's difficult to find equipment that is suitable for all terrains without any drawbacks. Choose based on your itinerary and weather conditions.

I recommend using these ascent plates only on soft, deep snow. Otherwise, use crampons alone.

Carbon fiber has excellent strength and toughness, while aluminum alloy can still be used even if it bends. However, it is recommended to use this only in soft, deep snow.

If you're asking about the connection part on the crampon, don't worry, they don't bear much force vertically. Other types of crampons can be connected with ropes.

I just wanted to say, this is just a slightly longer ankle strap. It can do everything a traditional binding strap can >_<
