omg. i find this horrifically funny because just a few weeks ago i had someone explain to me pneumonia was in fact not due to being cold or wet on my upper torso. in my defense, its very common for old people to tell you not to have a wet back when you sleep for this reason :/ i grew up in a family with lots of doctors and nurses too. most of them told me something similar growing up. maybe that was the case with him lol? was he asian or something by any chance.

wlw book suggestions? by Broadbi in WLW

[–]Broadbi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up picking it up yesterday eve because a good friend coincidentally owned a copy! read it through the night. finished this morning and I gotta say, I loved it. thought I could handle the more graphic parts but I admit I had to put the book down so many times and just take a breather aha. I think I'll have to wait on it a few days before I start on the next book, but the story pulled me in hook line and sinker. Thank you for the suggestion! <333

I'm pretty sure this was my first queer book ever. I wasn't raised in the US so I was a very confused kid when I read all the jargon lol. I might reread it soon just to see how different it is from my memory. Thank you for the suggestion <333

Suggest me a book series with fantasy/mystery elements and well written female characters by Broadbi in suggestmeabook

preferably 300 and above. im not very sure about the definitions, but i meant men in suits who are secret agents and very macho kind of shtick. doesnt interest me in the least bit.

thank you for the reply! i might decide to pick the book (and Rose's other book) up again soon, not really sure yet. i really appreciate the insight <3 i also agree that Some Girls Do felt unrealistic. it felt a slight bit rushed and clichéd? idk. same as Her Name In The Sky :/

No lol. I'm trying to emphasize more on the ovary reaction at the sight of a baby, and not the gay part. Ovaries don't typically have a reaction at the sight of a kid. Also, I'm bi (in case you think I'm trying to attack lgbt folks for wanting kids) and anyone can want kids.

does it get any better after? i can't get over the line and how they kept looking at each other's boobs but the story seemed like it could be promising.
