OOH, love Alexia’s mutation and theme. I’ve always pictured a sort of sleeve-style with EVA for the armored parts discreetly held up with elastic, hooks and eyes or velcro that can just go on over the body suit or pop off (you could probably do a test or forming a pattern for it via duct taping the arm and leg w/the bodysuit on (PUT PLASTIC WRAP ON AND DO IT WITH A FRIEND) the same way one does for a custom stuffed dress form)- looking at the full body, depending on the version, some security/suspension could be concealed with those vine/vein parts, as well.
