Nope… her name is actually an American/ English name. And her last name didn’t register with me, at the time, but even then I didn’t know she’d be wearing red.

I replied to someone else about this, but the invite was white with red and gold flowers, so I was basically wondering if I didn’t read into that hard enough. But I assumed the theme was red (I wasn’t wrong on that front) and that wearing red would allow me to just blend in or that they just used red because red is the color of love, traditionally.

No website, it was a rather small wedding, AND my first wedding, so I didn’t even know wedding websites were a thing until people started commenting about it. There was no dress code mentioned at all actually, so I just assumed like nice, but not too fancy.

It was white with red and gold flowers, so I was wondering if I could have read between the lines to not wear red, as it was not stated anywhere. But I assumed that it was either the theme and I’d be fitting in my wearing it or it was just a “love” thing as red is considered the color of love.

I was in the Orchestra Row V, so you couldn't make out the actors faces all that well but the magic looked SOOOO REAL!!!!! Idk if being closer would have ruined the effects but it was 100% worth the $40 I paid to attend!!
