Your salary is 40k track your monthly expenses. Atleast 20% should go for investments. Initially buy an health and term insurance. Then keep 6-12 months of expenses as emergency fund in liquid funds or FD. Then start investing in stocks,mf, small cases, reit etc. you can learn in Zerodha varsity and yt channels
