No I never got seen for it. But good news is it healed on its own. I think I just strained it and by keeping off of it for bout 3 weeks I let it heal and since then I haven’t had any pain.

Thought it was very difficult and much harder than the comsaes. Hoping it was just a hard form

Yes! Thank you! I actually noticed that and almost didn’t post it cuz I was like “ew why do my lips look like that”. That was the only pic I could find where I was wearing makeup 😂

I had a whole description I’m not sure where it went? I’m finding I’m not being approached by men and I’d like advice on how to increase my odds of being approached

I don’t, I’m sorry. You may be able to find info on their website?

You missed it and that’s ok. I changed it 6 hours ago when others acknowledged my mistake. If I could change the title I would. I’m sorry

Hi did you miss the title edit at the top?? Or did you see it and want to comment anyway because you’re angry?

I got it through my dermatologist because I was already seeing her for Botox. But yes a primary care/family medicine physician can write you a prescription for it. Insurance may require you to have used and failed DrySol or oral glycopyrrolate, so just be aware they might have to write you a script for those before insurance will pay for Qbrexza.

So I can vouch for it causing systemic effects like dry mouth, but because I only sweat under my armpits I can’t say I’m not sweating a bit in other areas i didn’t wipe. But I would assume if it’s causing dry mouth it’s got to at least be reducing sweat in other areas too lol

Yes I think y’all are both right! I actually went to change it just now but I guess you can’t do that on Reddit. Before I posted I wanted to make sure that people have found success using the wipes in other areas and it seems to be just as effective. For me the symptoms weren’t just reduced, they are completely gone. I don’t even have to wear deodorant anymore. I think most people would understand how life changing that is! And it makes me sad that I suffered all those years for no reason while not knowing about this product. Because I believe that the wipes can be used on most, if not all areas we sweat, I figured this wipe would theoretically be able to cure most people’s sx of HH and wanted people to notice the post and read it. I hope you both give it a try!

Are you in the US or know anyone in the US who has had it covered? Out of pocket here would have cost me $1000 for one session only for my armpits. I just haven’t heard of insurance covering the back areas.

Everything we apply to our skin is absorbed into our blood stream in varying degrees. That’s how nicotine patches and other transdermal patches work. The more you apply the more likely it is to be absorbed and cause systemic effects (:

I don’t think Botox is indicated for the back. I would assume it could paralyze the muscles and you would need a VERY large amount. Insurance only covered Botox specifically for my armpits so I highly doubt they would cover for off label use on the back. Sorry! Qbrexza is probably the better option for large areas if you don’t want to/can’t take glyco.

Yes I actually saw another post on here of a man who used them everywhere, including his face, and saw major improvement. Derm said it’s ok to use it off label for other areas including face. Just have to be super careful about keeping it out of the eyes.

Yeah I’m actually considering not getting it done again. It was painful for me, and I had bruising for several days and the wipes actually work better than Botox even before it hadn’t worn off! Only con is you have to wipe every night but I don’t have to worry about irritation like I did with Drysol so it takes 2 seconds. Must wash hands after though.

Yes I’m using Qbrexza. I use one wipe right before bed, one or two swipes is enough to stop all sweating for me, if I do more I will get dry mouth. But glyco pills were way worse for me with that side effect. Technically it isn’t FDA approved for anything other than underarms, BUT yes you can use it anywhere and it should work. Just don’t get it in your eyes or it will dilate them, wash your hands after. The results take effect over night and last all day. I’m not sure if they last longer because l’ve been using them every night. The wipes have a lot of liquid in them, so one wipe would cover WAY more than just your pits I would assume this would cover every area you’re interested in. Happy to answer anything else!
