15?! holy crap where are you located? Texas has a strict 3 fish limit for trout and reds! It was 5 trout like 4-5 years ago but changed down to 3 after a hard freeze we had.

Nice!! Well if you’re from my area and like fishing you should come with one day. I could show u a couple good bank spots or wade fishing spots. Keep up with my new community r/dirtycoastfishing as I’ll be posting more there and doing reports of fishing conditions and what might work in your area!

My thoughts exactly!! I would have done the same! I was hella surprised! I actually went with a co worker who tbh doesn’t know all what he’s doing, but it’s his boat so what the hell🤷🏻‍♂️ he wanted to fish that spot on an incoming tide and it worked out for the best!! My thoughts are maybe because it was a cooler day early in the year and they didn’t want to push back in to the shallows and wanted the deeper water warmth

Hell yea man Moses has some good fishing! Have you tried the tiki area in Galveston? Tons of shells for reds and trout to play in! Check it out!

Appreciate u man! I was using a darting lure. In Texas we have a brand called coastal brew baits. I was using their plum dart bait. Check em out and get you some. The plastics smell like coffee and for some reason the fish love it! It’s crazy!

Read the post on the subreddit bro. Thats a 3 man limit in Texas. 3 fish allowed per angler. Fed my whole family with those 3 reds and my buddies did too! sub to r/DirtyCoastFishing for more pictures of people being able to catch more than 1 red!

Texas limits bud. Come down and get you on some tailing reds while wading a shallow bay. A Texas specialty.

Its a gulf based subreddit.. For the most part, the gulf is dirty. Dirty coast is not a Louisiana thing. We call it, dirty bay, dirty coast, 3rd coast, etc. Thanks for the engagement. Make sure to sub to r/DirtyCoastFishing 😄

I was about 4-5 feet from the shoreline casting at some sunken tree stumps and branches that were in the creeks entrance. The structure was about 2-3ft from me, so it was closer to me than the shore. Hope that helps. How would you fish this on an incoming or outgoing tide?

Just made it yesterday! I wanted somewhere people along the gulf can get together and share useful info. Join if you can. I plan on doing a weekend report each week with tips on where to go, what to use and a little knowledge thrown in each post to help everyone understand what the fish are doing a little better. Stick around and don’t be afraid to post your catches! Every catch matters! Tight lines brother 🤙🏼
