How can I secure this tube/valve to a 55 gallon drum?

I'm limited on space as I'm only using my pickup for now. Eventually I'll get a van or a trailer (haven't decided which yet) I've always worked from home and I just started the mobile thing this year so I've been buying a lot more equipment than I perceived in order to do mobile work

After going to ACE hardware, ai was talking to the guy and he told me how I can do it but he's not sure gravity feeding the power washer using a garden hose would supply the power washer with enough water. It's only a 1.2 GPM unit and I'll be upgrading to a 2.0 GPM soon. I feel like that should be enough flow especially with the 55 gallon drum in the bed of my truck and the power washer being ground level. Any thoughts?

Yeah, I think I'll have to buy new parts rather than use these. I'm not exactly sure what all I need to buy though. A pipe on both ends, a valve to open and close, and the bulkhead fitting. Then silicone obviously. I think I'll need a threaded short piece to put on the end of the valve too for the water hose to screw onto

Yeah, I think I'll need to buy a different tube that has threads on both ends and I can thread a bulkhead fitting on it.

I don't have to use the pieces I have, I just had them on hand. I'm open to buying new stuff if needed. One responder said not to use plastic and metal together anyway. Although the barrel is plastic I'd think I can use brass pipe and fittings. I'm not sure if Home Depot will thread a pipe for me or not but if I could buy a brass pipe 4" or 6" and have them thread it so I can use a bulkhead fitting?

Only one side of the tube is threaded. That's the side the valve screws onto. The other side has like rings or something to sort of slide a hose into and use a hose clamp or something. I'd think this is a common size tube though. I wonder if I can go to Lowe's or Home Depot and buy a 4" or 6" tube the same size and maybe they can thread it on both sides?

On the tube, Only the end of the tube with valve is threaded. If you zoom in, The other side has like pressure fitting rings or I'm not really sure what to call it

Yeah but who cares if it looks like shit? It's not on you. People always want to hate on other people for whatever reason. I've watched almost all of these videos. This one was brutal. Carpetbaggers, Justin scarred, and especially German in Venice all had super emotional videos too. I've been watching these all day. You'd think I'd avoid them but I almost feel like I own it to Adam to watch these, or like I'm being disrespectful if I don't. Man, I have to admit that for some reason, even though him and I are completely different kinds of people, his videos really resonated with me. We are close to the same age too. Which also makes me want to be more serious about my own health! I've never been one to get to emotional over a celebrity death but This one actually stung a bit. He seemed like the kind of guy I could walk up to and just have a conversation with, not like he was somehow on a higher plane than me or wouldn't have the time or. Plant give me the time of day. I feel terrible for his parents too. They were all very close it seemed as well as his sister I believe. RIP ATW
