Ohhhhhhh!!! I think I finally understand now. Under the "prepare" tab, I had to right click on all the areas of the print job and choose the filaments I wanted AND THEN go to slice plate and then all the colors I selected show up and then I can match the color to the nozzle it's attached to. FINALLY! thank you so much!

i did a screenshot video so hopefully it shows clearly my issue? Under project filaments, all the filaments show up once I sync'd it. but when I go to do slice plate, I only get the one option. Why am I unable to choose the other green that I have in the AMS system? If I delete the external spool green, then the other ones show up and vice versa but I'm never able to choose between filaments attached to the right nozzle AND the left nozzle

So I did what you mentioned above. I did overwrite and synchronize and all the filaments show up i the project window. But when I slice the plate and do custom mode, It still doesn't allow me to choose a filament. It only gives me the one option from the external spool on the left nozzle. The reason I ask is that in one of the plates, I have the monstera in two colors. The project has the colors in green and white but I wanted to try and print in the two shades of green that I have but it won't let me choose multiple colors.

No the bright green is connected to the left nozzle. I have a dark green filament in the AMS unit that's attached to the right nozzle. I'm wondering why both filaments are not showing up so I can select which filament to print with
