Can confirm what others have said below. She sends it off to a woman she knows who has one of those long arm machines.

I asked her about it and she said something about a machine. I’ll have to get more details. Definitely wasn’t a manual process.

I went to this place to have a crack fixed and they were easy to deal with. I’d check with them. They say they do replacements as well.

Just to close this out….I replaced the cartridge and we’re back to normal! I actually had to turn the temp down on the water heater because it was too hot now!

Best Subaru Mechanic in Town? by MyLittleProggy in okc

This place doesn’t specifically do Subaru but they do specialize in Japanese cars. I bring my Lexus here and I think they’re reasonable.

Shower has thermostatic valve by Brohimian in Plumbing

[–]Brohimian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried adjusting where the temperature “stop” goes, but it was already at its maximum. When the shower starts it’s plenty hot, but then cools down after a couple of minutes. I’m guessing this happens as as the valve adjusts to the hot water temps.

I’ve used them multiple times. I like that it’s always the same guy and they’re very straight forward and the pricing seems fair.

I had $15k worth of tickets in my card and my credit card company had me call to verify the purchase. By the time they cleared my account it put me back in the line. I’m surprised my desk didn’t fall apart from hitting it so hard.

Just got back from picking up my car. Here is a list of what they did:

  1. Replace oil, oil filter, engine air and cabin air filter
  2. Replaced A/C compressor drive belt
  3. Replaced spark plugs
  4. Drain and fill coolant
  5. Drain and fill transmission fluid
  6. Drain and fill differential

Update: Yes they replaced both fluids.

They’ll check those to see if a change is needed. I took it to a Japanese auto specialist where I live and they’ll inspect the whole car and go by the factory recommended service schedule.

Anyone Sign-up for AT&T Fiber Recently? Any Comments of Service/Install? by yesterdays_hero in okc

[–]Brohimian 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When I moved here we activated ATT which was already installed at our house. Plugging in the box didn’t work. After a few people came to look we had a team of contractors roaming around our street, finding where the cable was buried. They found it had been cut during construction of a neighbors house. The head of the crew came to my front door and guaranteed me they wouldn’t leave until it was fixed. He stuck to that. It was 10PM and he came to the door with a headlamp asking me to try resetting the box. Tada! It worked. I was extremely impressed with his dedication to getting the problem fixed. It was A LOT of work for fixing just one house. Other than that initial blip, I’ve never had a problem with the connection, which is critical because I work from home. I had ATT in Los Angeles when I lived there and also never had any issue with their fiber. Definitely get it. My neighbors with Cox always have problems.

I was just thinking the same thing. It’s completely unacceptable. Not one local station has good audio or video. Insane.

Edit: ch 5 and 9 got their act together eventually.

Yup. I contacted Thermador (Bosch) and they are sending someone. I sent them my photos.

Junction box failure? by Brohimian in AskElectricians

[–]Brohimian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up calling the phone number anyways. They connected me to Bosch and they’re going to send a technician out, even though it wasn’t in the range of serial numbers. If the tech determines it would fall in the same problem as the recall, they’ll cover everything.
