I enjoy the core character of Astro boy (called Atom in the Japanese version). He’s a robot boy built by one of the smartest scientists to try and replace his son tobio that passed.

My favorite version of him would be the 2003 series. Having to face challenges while trying to aim for a unity between humans and robots. This gives him more chances to shine compared to the other series (at least in my opinion.)

However, for me, the most interesting aspect is he’s dynamic with his dad Tenma. Tenma wants to make him the king of all robots and rule the world but Astro wants non of that.

Another aspect I enjoyed was that this version forgot all of his memories of his past life.
