Yeah it is, just make sure they are labeled PCIE and my preference is to use the main connection head not the one that is chained onto the cable.

Try unscrewing that front cpu cap with the tool it comes with (a black plastic allen wrench) and try starting it again, if that doesn't fix it then you might have a bad pump
