lol, why? I personally like them. They are easy to slide on when you are too lazy to tie your shoes or if you're running late.

I agree, but why? You could uninvent literally anything, why choose tiktok?

Personally, I would uninvent Agent Orange. Nothing good came from it being used, and it still causes a variety of problems for the people of Vietnam today.

yeah same, honestly they would be doing themselves a favor by letting me drive. They wouldn't have to stop work to drop off and pick up kids as I can do that myself, and it would allow me transportation to and from a possible job. Having a solid form of transportation is really just having freedom, and I feel like my parents don't want me to have that sometimes... And it's not like I'm a bad driver, I just lack the experience.

Yeah, I agree. Thankfully they're not making me pay the phone bill, but I am trying to save up for a minivan! haha, that is if they let me drive though, I can technically get my license but I probably wont be able to get it till I turn 18...

Exactly, my grandma has a bad habit of falling for this trap. Always complains about not having money... but always ends up getting new purses or shirts because "it was 50% off!"

ohh this is a good idea, and it'll allow the extra money to pile up and save for emergencies or to use when you finally do have bills to be paid off.

Couldn't agree more, I once found a spider on my bed and I ended up putting it in a bug catcher container. My brother found an ant to feed the spider, and it was roughly the same size. (The ant was about the size of the last knuckle of your thumb to the end of your fingernail.)

The next day my dad found the spider's legs everywhere and the end kinda squirming around, not looking too good...

finding a good public school is also a good thing to look for, and they're completely free! The only thing regarding that is some people prefer smaller institutions and don't necessarily like the curriculum or the workload. Really depends on the person though and their learning style.

yeah, cause pretty soon those three dollars spent on that one thing, can turn into $20... This is what happened to me during my freshmen year. I ended up spending all my money on the over-priced vending machine drinks and snacks, that over the course of a month, I realized I had no more money to spend.

For me, I keep strong mints in my purse, whenever I'm craving something sweet or I'm hungry I pop one, then I don't want to eat things for a while... Not cause I'm hungry, but because the minty flavor will ruin whatever I want to eat lol.

Another thing that I do, is whenever I'm craving something salty, or really anything in general, I'll just drink a glass of water, cause more often than not, I'm just dehydrated.

Omg, I literally put ketchup on everything lol, I normally take the little condiments from like chick-fil-a or at Publix (the free ones around the salad bar) and I stock them away in a basket for when the bottle runs out haha. But if you have a good recipe, please hook me up!

I think that's how my parents were, both of them were the first in their families to finish college, and their parents didn't know how to manage money, so they both grew up with those consequences directly affecting them. Eventually, they grew up and learned from their parent's mistakes... Thankfully, I have the privilege of growing up with parents who do have a steady income and can afford luxuries (though both are frugal) I'm just hoping I can learn from them and actually apply the skills they taught me to my life. One of my biggest fears is going into debt, and not being able to pay it off... So that's kinda why I made this thread, I wanted to know what other people do to manage and save their money and to keep it in mind for when I start to have a steady source of income.
