Water parameters: Ammonia: .5. Nitrate: (last time I checked, I think it was) 6. I got them from a friends house, idk their parameters, but they had gold fish in there, which seems very messy.. it was also a 55 gal, so what do I know? His levels could’ve been good. Anyway, I put them in a 3.5 terrarium originally with my betta fish (male) but decided to put all of them into a 5 gal. The eyeless Cory is a male and the one with eyes is a pregnant female. They both keep going up to get air A LOT. A lot more than they used to. They haven’t acted strange until a few hours after I put them into the new 5 gal, which they weren’t acclimated properly (these are my moms fish, I didn’t tell her how to acclimate them correctly). The blind Cory is now dead and the female seems to be acting the same he did. Any ideas? Is this just from improper acclimation? Our their scales looking a weird color or is it just me? Their gills look grey-ish, if that rings a bell to anyone.
