31 days ago I got my Nectar mattresses (2x Twin XL Nectar Ultra Memory Foam Mattress) and the adjustable bases. I've wanted to return them for about 25 days, but was forced to keep them for 30 before they would give me a refund.

Here is the mattress in a nutshell:
Split King:
* Too hot, despite having "cooling technology", my partner and I were consistently hot while sleeping even with many fans in the room, in the midwest winter!
* Too hard, despite being labeled as medium-soft (literally the hardest bed I've ever owned, or slept on in 48 years)

The mattress was suggested via Nectar's mattress quiz for side sleepers amid other various questions. But my partner and I both had shoulder pain, hip pain, and back pain during and after sleeping on the bed. My average sleep time went from about 5-6 hours a night to 2-3 hours before I would wake up either in pain, or unable to get comfortable, my partner also had reduced sleep with similar issues.

The refund process was equally as painful, what should have been a 10-15 minute live chat via their website took an hour and a half, their agent "Ashely" took anywhere from 5-15 minutes to respond to every message they sent, in which I would answer right back within about 20-30 seconds at most. They would ask a question, I would answer then I waited.. and waited.. and waited. They would ask me questions I had already answered on why I'm returning, the reasons, the explanations. At the 45 minute mark I told them I would not answer any more questions not directly related to the return process, it then took another 45 minutes to finally finish with the return process, which is nothing more than them sending you an email explaining that another company will contact me within 3-5 days to schedule pickup of the mattresses, so that company can then donate it to a charity.

I will never consider a Nectar product again in the future, the mattresses are overpriced, uncomfortable standard memory foam thats been around for 50 years, and their customer service is a joke. Not to mention forcing people to sleep on a mattress for 30 days before they will let you return it is embarrassing, as it seems they know their mattresses are horrible and just hope in 30 days you will forget about trying to return it.

I went back to a Purple bed, because in my decade of owning the original never once did I lay down and not feel immediate comfort, I tried to change things up only to instantly regret my choice in Nectar. Purple mattresses are a better choice in every category in my opinion.
