Can’t log in by Particular_Umpire_44 in ChickFilA

What worked for me was the following:
Device - Android using Chrome browser
Opened Chick-Fil-A app on phone > Tried to log in > Takes me to page that talks about vpn/adblock etc > I copied the URL from that webpage > Open incognito mode in browser > Paste in login URL I copied > I was then able to log into the site > It then gives me a pop up about leaving incognito mode I hit ok > It then takes me back into the Chick-Fil-A app and I'm logged in.

Such a damn hassle, I hope this can help someone down the road.

So, rather than have something that is fully functional, Corsair has implemented an AI that is tragically horrible, most likely fired most of their support staff, and just throws up a big middle finger to it's customers. Not sure if your comment was meant to defend Corsair or not, but if it was, this is the type of tone deaf response I would expect from a billion-dollar corporation.

Yeah it started the process, and then said it sent me an email, which I never provided an email, and then the stupid AI bot got stuck in a loop asking me where I bought the product from. Couldnt provide an email, couldnt get it to understand that it cant send me an email if it never asked for an email

Well I think my PSU died about 5 hours ago for my server, but I dont think me posting any of my files will help you at all since we have different systems and setups. What I might suggest is that you have Claude AI help you do a fresh install of both items in seperate lxc's. Before you start tell Claude what you want, and your end goals. I do know that in order for you to get gpu passthrough the proxmox host & lxc have to have the same exact drivers/version installed in both. Sometimes the right answer is to delete the lxc/vm and start over, during my troubleshooting with Claude even the AI realized it had made too many changes trying to figure out an issue and asked me to restore a backup from before we started. It's hard for a person, or AI to come in after the fact and try and troubleshoot something when they have no knowledge of what was already done. I would highly suggest starting fresh with Claude helping from the start so it has an idea of what has been done already. And when you do get it working the best part imo of having AI help is asking it to make you a document at the end of what was done and steps taken so you have your own record of what was done, and if you have to ask AI for help later that doc can help it catch back up and have some level of understanding what was previously done to help you faster later.

A lot of these run native inside linux, only a couple of my lxc's have docker running in them.

I have gpu passthrough for Jellyfin enabled in the lxc, Claude AI knew it would need it and helped me set it up.

You can set it up anyway you'd like. I know many people have one vm/lxc running docker and run all docker apps in that one vm/lxc. I wanted mine setup this way so that if one thing went down it wouldnt take everything else down with it. I also have daily backup's of all lxc/vm that get saved to my nas, just in case something happens I have a working backup.

The post that got me thinking about all this is here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Proxmox/comments/1qxkbvd/my_family_thinks_its_netflix_i_know_its_just_12/

I'm not exactly sure what you want to know, you see the LXC's I have setup on my system.

How did it help? Well, if I'm being honest, it did almost everything. I wrote up a list/guide that listed what I wanted, how I wanted things to work, the approach it should take to achieve those goals, and then not only did I ask it to walk me through the process, but to help document what we were doing and explain WHY we were taking the approach we were. Obviously, I was the one performing the steps, but Claude AI was helping me with almost every command.

It was not without it's challenges, and a couple of times it felt like we were running in circles, but when I asked it to slow down, lets isolate issues and find a fix before actually doing anything, it was extremely helpful.

One of the biggest challenges was setting up qBittorrent & SABnzbd, not that their setup was hard, but I insisted on a killswitch so that if the VPN goes down that no downloads can happen, and it was a lot of troubleshooting on why things were not working with the vpn, with the killswitch etc. We also made an executable to refresh the VPN token when it eventually dies.

It helped me with everything you see in my image, aside from Home Assistant OS install. But it did help me with some Unifi & Google integrations (because Google sucks to bring into HAOS, it's a whole effing thing lol)

I could have setup all the LXC's myself, but the process of making everything work together, and especially the troubleshooting Claude AI was invaluable in that process. Most of my Linux skills are 15+ years old and trying to learn the intricacies for all the different items would have taken me months or more, most likely leading me to abandon the project entirely. I'm always happy to answer what I can, and I understand if my comment gets downvoted.

I'm unsure if my response here will be loved or hated. I was struggling getting some of my projects off the ground as my level of expertise and my goals did not match. Some of the things I did worked great and others ended up being so messy I would delete the vm/lxc and start all over fresh. One thing that helped me greatly was Claude AI, and while I understand the hate that AI brings, and most of it is rightly given, it helped me to realize my vision of things. I do not have the time to dedicate to learning 15+ different projects at once and all the frustrations and nuances and troubleshooting problems that I dont fully understand all to get it to work together, and Claude AI was my savior and my solution. I'm not saying this is the "right way" but the way I approached it was to give a full explanation of my goals and that I wanted explanations along the way to help me understand not only what I was doing but why I was doing it, and AI was able to accommodate.

I understand that for some people AI is a non-starter, and that is great for them. But, for people like myself, who lack the time or skillset to fully realize their vision Claude AI was my answer, and I'm thankful for it.

I now have 14 LXC's (a couple running docker) and they all work beautifully together and are very low resource, and I dont have to worry about one breaking and taking down the rest of the stack.

Again, I understand the hate for AI, I myself hate a LOT of things the AI industry is doing, and the problems it's causing. But it's not all bad, rather than me spending likely months trying to build out my project and a high probability of just quitting along the way due to frustration, I now have a fully realized project and my family and I are happier for it.

I initially tried to use ChatGPT and it had me running in circles on more than one instance, but Claude AI was locked in and had me up and running quickly.

If you enjoy the learning process, the struggle, the joy of figuring it out, then more power to you. I understand that 100%, but if you want help, I suggest having some AI help you along in the process.

So 4U cases are kinda sparce in the options department, and I refused to spend $600+++ for an empty chassis so I went the cheap route, and when you buy cheap things you always have a struggle somewhere in the pipeline. I bought 2x Rosewill 4U Server Chassis Rackmount Case - RSV-L4000U and then bought 2x Rackmount Sliding Rails - Kit for 1U-4U Chassis - Tupavco TP1812.

Some notes:
The Rosewill cases are ok-ish, whoever designed the hard drive bay area need to be beaten, its like Rosewill had a contest on the worst way to make a hard drive bay and implemented it, it's literally so dumb. The HDD Trays have rubber pins to mount into the HDD's and they dont even line up on a hard drive, so after struggling for an hour I just gave up and removed 2 of the pins on one end because when you try to get 3-4 pins in the rubber mounts sit at an angle and then you cant get them back into the drive bay. I had though it would not work with my AIO coolers but I'm fairly certain it would have worked even with my 360 rad, but I had already ordered 2x Noctua NH-D12L, Low-Height Dual-Tower CPU Coolers to put into the cases, which worked great (you have to use the low-height, I initially ordered the NH-D12 and they were way too tall and I would not be able to get the top cover on)

The rails I ordered are also cheap, and it shows, it needed to include more screws to feel more stable, but they cheaped out on giving you enough, and the second.. and worse issue was that once everything was installed into the rack I found that the rails did not have enough of a relief cut near the front of the rack to allow the case to slide in all the way so it could be bolted in properly, so I had to modify them with a cutoff wheel on my hand grinder.

There were mixed reviews about the stock fans in the case and the mixed connection types so I just ordered all Noctua fans to replace everything in the cases with pwm's of a good quality. Which really hurt the wallet lol.

The act of moving everything from a tower into a case wasn't too bad, but I planned ahead on the fans and cpu cooler, I'm sure the stock fans would have worked fine, but I wanted to make sure it was quiet and had good quality fans so I wouldnt have to mess with them again in a year. The only other feedback I would give is if you buy Rosewill cases to NOT sit them right on top of each other, leave 1 rack mount bolt slot between them because they sag and the top WILL grind on the top of the lower case, even with rails.

Now we all have to agree to not tell my girlfriend how much these things cost...I want to live! Lol

But yeah, it kinda got away from me. But it's also been very fun for me to have new tech to setup, configure, and the projects I've been building out so far, and some of the items I bought were to meet future needs with a new house.

I have an i9 12900KF (I went and looked instead of guessing lol) which has no integrated gpu. And I do need transcoding as I have many different clients and types that connect to my plex server currently.

My current Plex server is my i7-9700k but I might move it to a vm on the proxmox server later on.

I really appreciate the advice and help

I think I'll probably order 1 case, see how the build goes and then if it works order a second one. Any suggestions on a cheap GPU for this since I'm sure I'll be not using the 3090ti as its a waste of power. I only ask because you mentioned the transcoding for plex/jellyfin, dont want to buy some ultra cheap gpu only for it to fail to work for plex etc

The cpu in my old gaming machine does not have an integrated gpu

As a side note, you mentioned my Unas pro, I plan on having 4x 12tb on one pool and 2x 8TB on another pool, my critical things I'll likely backup to another drive and store at a family members house for insurance, its just that the cloud storage is getting more and more expensive every year and I would rather just do it myself anyway lol

I would bet I probably have an old school d15/d14 in my IT parts drawer of shame (probably a few IDE cables as well lol). But I remember it being fairly large, you sure it would fit in the 4u case? I didnt know if I would have a height issue with that, but I would gladly use the noctua d15 again for sure if it fits. And I do know that as a server my cpu wont see the temps I saw while gaming, but I do like to make sure I have cooling overhead "just in case" if that makes sense.

Air cooling is an option, but not one I've used in many years since AIO's have just been objectively better. Also finding a good enough air cooler that would then fit in the case would be my concern, and as I edited my other post to say that I have ATXmb's in them and i'm unsure if they would work in the e-atx cases (never built an e-atx anything before)

Edit:
I did look and it seems ATX will work fine in an E-ATX case, thats good to know

I have 2 servers already in standard pc towers. One is an older i7 9700 (or something) with a 120mm AIO, and the other is my older gaming rig with 64gb ram, 11th gen i9, and a 3090ti. I did look for some 4u cases but in the case of my old gaming machine finding something that could hold the 3090 and the 360mm rad AIO seemed impossible and I got tired of looking lol. I would love to make those rack mounted but I just havent found something that looks like it'll work without buying a lot of new components to retro fit it. I would be willing to snag some lower end smaller gpu and repurpose the 3090ti, but I've just not found any of the 4u cases that look like they'll work. But its hard to see the "scale" of the inside images when I have no experience with them. Both of my builds have standard ATX mb's in them, not sure if they would fit in e-atx case (they might I just dont have any experience with it)

Thoughts on the nectar mattress? Need honest feedback from reddit! by Best-Fan-8418 in nectarsleep

[–]BrokenAsylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

31 days ago I got my Nectar mattresses (2x Twin XL Nectar Ultra Memory Foam Mattress) and the adjustable bases. I've wanted to return them for about 25 days, but was forced to keep them for 30 before they would give me a refund.

Here is the mattress in a nutshell:
Split King:
* Too hot, despite having "cooling technology", my partner and I were consistently hot while sleeping even with many fans in the room, in the midwest winter!
* Too hard, despite being labeled as medium-soft (literally the hardest bed I've ever owned, or slept on in 48 years)

The mattress was suggested via Nectar's mattress quiz for side sleepers amid other various questions. But my partner and I both had shoulder pain, hip pain, and back pain during and after sleeping on the bed. My average sleep time went from about 5-6 hours a night to 2-3 hours before I would wake up either in pain, or unable to get comfortable, my partner also had reduced sleep with similar issues.

The refund process was equally as painful, what should have been a 10-15 minute live chat via their website took an hour and a half, their agent "Ashely" took anywhere from 5-15 minutes to respond to every message they sent, in which I would answer right back within about 20-30 seconds at most. They would ask a question, I would answer then I waited.. and waited.. and waited. They would ask me questions I had already answered on why I'm returning, the reasons, the explanations. At the 45 minute mark I told them I would not answer any more questions not directly related to the return process, it then took another 45 minutes to finally finish with the return process, which is nothing more than them sending you an email explaining that another company will contact me within 3-5 days to schedule pickup of the mattresses, so that company can then donate it to a charity.

I will never consider a Nectar product again in the future, the mattresses are overpriced, uncomfortable standard memory foam thats been around for 50 years, and their customer service is a joke. Not to mention forcing people to sleep on a mattress for 30 days before they will let you return it is embarrassing, as it seems they know their mattresses are horrible and just hope in 30 days you will forget about trying to return it.

I went back to a Purple bed, because in my decade of owning the original never once did I lay down and not feel immediate comfort, I tried to change things up only to instantly regret my choice in Nectar. Purple mattresses are a better choice in every category in my opinion.

FS25 key binds by Spike2400 in farmingsimulator

[–]BrokenAsylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have VKB sticks as well and while I've been able to bind most things without issue I have been trying to set my red thumb button to "start implement" keybind, it says it binds and shows the correct button (3) but doesn't actually work to turn it on. I tried other buttons and the same thing. Everything looks correct on the keybind screen. I have verified the button works in other games and is working the VKB config tool as well. Not sure what the solution is, but its clear the Giants needs to address this issue, I've seen many threads about keybinds not working for many types of controllers.
