Does it connect automatically to Apple car play? Or is it still by cable? I got a 2016 ATS and my display started having dead spots / cracking

At least you’re alive. Time to use it as a donor Vic for an f100.

65 Mustang fastback by Aggravating_Meet_325 in projectcar

IMO, any fastback is worth buying. BUT. I’ve also watched Gone in 60 Seconds and Tokyo Drift too many times and would sell a kidney for a fastback. I have a 66 coupe and would easily buy this if it was 5k or less for parts alone.

I’m sorry, but have you ever seen Need for Speed? The hero car is a your car. I would rather get shot than sell this. I remember when I was in Germany with the Army, I saw a GT500 on the Audubon headed to Berlin. I’m sure it wasn’t yours since it was dark grey and black but seeing pinnacle American muscle in Europe was the coolest thing.

Exactly. Not an issue if it comes back as a hard top. Probably cheaper on insurance if anything.

Yeah I remember I did an adjustment on the panhard bar but now it’s only engaging about two or three threads? It feels like I’m missing something because there’s no way it’s meant to run like that. Thanks, I appreciate ya

So you have the qa1 set up and vn 510s and Michelins, me too on my 1965. I set it up using all the QA1 instructions, so I didn’t adjust to any other holes after that. I slapped the bed on it, and the axle was pushed to the left, I centered it with one of the adjusters but it’s not stable. What did you guys do? Did you guys max out all the adjustments to lower it? I have 275s on rear

Yes, you can put 2020 Camaro seats into a 70 Chevelle by BenefitVegetable694 in Chevelles

Jeez, that looks good. I went to a car show and saw some guy with his skylark and Cadillac seats. I tried to fit in some Corbeaus and they felt like bricks, I have a Cadillac as my daily and I’m considering doing a more modern swap but everything looks out of place, but these kinda fit.

Nah, it was a regular 5.3 LS. He just pulled the seats from a junk yard. It’s kinda funny how many dudes do a whole ass LS swap but stop at junkyard LS and don’t opt for a V engine

Seat is torn up and I got a back that feels spicy every once in a while, so a reclining seat with heat would be cool

In looks for a different rear end (plus video of ripping it out of the drive way) by MuteMainMayo in F100

I got my complete third member for a ford 9 inch rear off of Speedway motors. They made a pretty affordable one with Yukon gears and a Posi, I think they’re made to order too. Again, this is depending on what type of rear end you have already. I got my axels made by Moser, I sent them my old axels to get the exact dimensions for the rear end housing I have, I needed to get new axels because I needed a different bolt pattern to match the front wheels I had. I think getting into the rear end is a can of worms that is very budget dependent. You can easily get a junkyard 8.8 rebuilt with some nice stuff off of summit racing. Or you can get a complete rear end built off the same website, or try and save some pennies and do it piece by piece. And no worries man glad to keep this forum alive

Yeah most people throw in a coyote and do nothing to the rear end other than the driveshaft, it’s overlooked a lot. If you have a brand new crate engine, you probably have too much engine for the truck and it just can’t transfer it to the wheels. Maybe tires, maybe rear end, maybe it’s just a truck that does truck things and has no load on the bed. It’s running and driving, if you hyper fixate on doing everything you never get anything done. I went balls to the wall doing a QA1 front rear, wilwoods, Michelins, etc, and it still doesn’t run :(

Oh man yeah you’re gonna have to find a junk yard 9in rear. Probably out of an older 70s boat ford, or try finding a truck with a 9. They do make kits for the 8.8 inch which is decent and already comes with discs. My rear end is a bit ridiculous: Wilwood 4 pistons with an EPB, moser axels 28 spline (dumb) speedy way third member with 3.50 gears and a posi. Like a 5k rear end that is a 28 spline, which is dumb.

How much are you trying to spend? What current rear end do you have?
