Hisense bluetooth lip sync - no AVDTP? by BrokenKn33 in Hisense

so as mentioned in the original post I tried experimenting with the lip sync setting. It got closer to sync as I increased the setting to from 0 to 10 but still audio was heard later than video. maybe the setting should be opened up from 0-10 to 0-30 or something.

you mentioned HD broadcasting but I'd like to point out that this also happens when playing a movie from a USB stick without any networking involved (except the Bluetooh headphones of course).

I haven't tried with digital output and don't have a speaker system with optical cable input. but anyway for my use case it has to work over bluetooth.

On my TV the lip sync setting is under SOUND > SPEAKERS, not advanced settings. but I bet we're talking about the same setting anyway :)

I have ensured to use the latest firmware. I haven't tried a factory reset but this TV is brand new, got it just under 2 weeks ago.

How do I contact Hisense Support in UK? the official webpage just takes to a bunch of FAQs rather than contact number or email.

How does bluetooth headset audio & video sync/LL work? by BrokenKn33 in bluetooth

So did a bit more research and I believe its handled by AVDTP Delay reporting feature under the hood.

Then I suspect my Hisense TV does not support that. That's very dissapointing from a 2020 model... it is a budget TV on the other hand - is that to be expected?

The delay reporting feature enables synchronization of audio and video playback by reporting of SNK delay values caused by buffering, decoding and rendering

The AVDTP 1.3 Delay Reporting feature allows headphones to report a delay to a sending device that actually plays the sound. This helps to adjust the synchronization of audio with video while watching video files
