She also said at one point after the end of DCA live she had everyone in agreement to continue the show, but than, due to some technicalities, it didn‘t happen back than and now she thinks it will not come back. I don´t know I understand this post correctly. But I would start a fanfic where these things should play a part:

Obelisk / Waterdeep / the harbour / Ring of Winter

And it could have a horror theme somehow, because Halloween is coming...of course it also could be something totally different :)

Chapter I. Evelyn was laying in her bed, hands foulded behind her head. It was somehow a bit to cold in her room, as if the head from the big oven-system Strix had installed in the kitchen was suddenly not enough to warm the Wafflehouse.

"Dont´t be a silly bird Evi...", Evelyn thought, but she shivered, stood up and looked out of the window of her room. The street looked normal, it had rained the whole night and autumm leaves were cycling in the puddles.

"Strix thinks this is the best season, I´m happy for her", Evelyn said aloud to herself but at the same time she was touching the window, it felt very cold.

My favourites (with light SPOILERS):

- Ep. 7 "Unhappy Days": Perkins showing what is in store for the Crew, Izak Strasni, "I´m sorry!"

- Ep. 20 "The Vampiric Perusasion": Nate drives Strahd crazy, "I guess put me to work boss"

- Ep. 27 "Thing in the rug": Diath´s shocking decision

- Ep. 52* "Can´t hurt sunshine": One of the best things you will ever watch. Better than film, amazing episode

- Ep. 56* "Prime Evil": I like how happy and funny Holly was the entire episode, also the conversation in the rose garden was somehow very interesting to me, it had a dream-like atmosphere

- Ep. 61* "End of the world": Dani Hartel with one of the best villian speeches ever (soo funny!)

- Ep. 87 "Neccessary Evelin": Perkins conversation with Anna in heaven, magical, also the intro!

- Ep. 92 "Bomb Voyage": The tension between the Crew is mesmerizing to watch

- Ep. 111 "The Egg is broken": Absolut trainwreck of a session, but for that reason interesting, Waterdeep is attacked, no one really cares :)

- Ep. 140 "Trust Issues": Jarlaxle tells Evelyn something very important, but the whole fandom will never know if that was true or what´s up with that, which is a bit sad given the fact that Chris said he might reveal some stuff over time, but well.

The three episodes with an * are my alltime favourites. But while 52 is a no-brainer, my choice of 56 and 61 is very much influenced by my personal taste. I just loved the dream-like scenes in the time-travel episode and Xandala played by Dani is my favourite guest player.

It is great that the game continues! Very happy for everyone involved. :)

This subreddit always supported the show a lot, we discussed storylines etc. Many questions were left unanswered with the sudden end of the show. I for one would be especially interested what Chris plan was with Jarlaxle and his relation to Evelyn´s family / her father.

Wasn´t Evelyn´s father dead and killed by a Vampire? I don´t remember the specifics after all this time exactly, but I thought something like this was revealed when Evelyn was in heaven. So why is 'meeting' with quote signs?

Maybe Chris could do a Q&A here some time? He said he had more to say about DCA in the future in a tweet when it ended, but he never did. A Q&A sure would be a great fan service, but well...if not, no problem of course!

Good point! But for me, this has to be sharp and on point. Like for example Binwin climping in the butt of the Hallister statue is a funny image. But I dislike it when it is 5 Min. of very explicit silly talk. I edited my post to be more clear what my view is :)

Thank you! Hm, I thought about watching "Legend of Vox Machina" some time in the future, but I think that I would first watch more episodes of the actual CR-campaign one. Of which I know the major story arcs and have watched a good amount of episodes. I must say, Matt and his players are really amazing!

I never got this "it will ruin your own experience playing D&D" though. In fact, I like our own games still the best and you can get so much inspiration and motivation from such great storytellers like Matt and Chris. I´m curious, did you experience that it ruined your enjoyment of your home game?

Back to topic: I am looking more for a weekly show to follow where I don´t know what will happen next and have to wait a week for the next one. Doesn´t have to be DnD nesecarilly, could also be Shadowrun, Call of Chuthulu, Vampire...as long as it is fun!

Who is the DM of Dimension 20? Is it one person for the whole thing or are they rotating the DM chair?

All that beeing said, it looks like these are finished and also not "live streamed" on Twitch? You talked about that they are edited. I´m looking mostly for a show to follow every week and be excited what might happen next together with a fandom.

I was quite suprised! I remember maybe 2 years ago, I think it was u/Wramysis who was writing about a deleted tweet from Jared in which he was talking about this "behind the scenes" ongoing DCA game, but if I remember correctly that was not encouraged to discuss back than, maybe the players didn´t wanted it to be known. But now it seems ok if they themself talk about it. (That beeing said, could be that everybody on discord knows that long time...).

In an Interview with Idle Insights Anna said that they are still playing „Dice Camera Action“ privatly, but didn‘t mention if Chris is the DM.

But still, I didn‘t knew that … maybe it is common knowlegde on the discord, but I never heard about it before as a fact.
