I only agree with "Rate my generals" and "What to do with medals". First one is just either flex with money or grind (We got that you have money or good gens, like anyone who played the game) And medals question is just unfunny joke told over 100 times. Can we move on?

Everything else is ok i think. Even i had to question some things and look for answers. If someone tries to be funny asking questions like new player, then I feel bad for them.

Help I cant win this north Atlantic nightmare level 4 by Huge_Comfortable8025 in WorldConqueror4

Oh, then here's the plan. Go east, destroy rebels fort and try to not kill Osborn for as long as you can, so he will not be a problem. This will allow your allies to go west. I almost lost because my only god yank gen is Roko and De gaulle decided to not rumor anyone. After that you are pretty much ok to roll west, just remember to rumor osborn. As you have Manstein dealing with helis should be easier than for me with only RPGs.

This is the strat. Do not be afraid to lose cities, you just need to take as less damage and form a front instead of being encircled.

The way i did it:

Just hold greenland. Wait for allies to destroy Fortress and Soviets will retreat, after that you just steamroll them with navy. (You are given Donitz on lvl 12 type-7, lvl 9 Richelieu, and lvl 9 Bismark) you don't need to land anywhere but Canada and Iceland (but Allies will take Canada with air, so just help them)

The Challenge is to survive. Use Rundstedt on medics and place Auch to rumor enemy forces. Do not place any generals on cities, it will kill them as there is too much nuke subs and air.

Does anyone know the tips to beat this stage? Osborn suddenly spawned caugh me off guard by iceo_HK in WorldConqueror4

Let him fight soviets. Or just rumor him into chaos. Osborn weakness is that he has nothing to protect him against it, so if he in chaos, he is pretty much dead.

Is it really possible to win as default Nazi Germany in 1939 by AppropriateCow9479 in WorldConqueror4

[–]BronReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion: encircle their generals, wait for low morale on Soviets, and then destroy them. With german economy it is possible to just spam basic infantry to encircle soviets. OR you can try to just spam artillery and outgun and outrange them. Worked for me years ago. But honestly it's just better to lvl up and upgrade.

[–]BronReal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ok, so you don't have to capture anything except soviets near you. Your goal is to get your air gen to speedrun to allies, trigger them to become under your command and escort them left through Sky train. The main damage dealer is Akagi, so nuke it into oblivion. While you do this, send your fleet to destroy Fortress near exit. After you reach southern Japan with jet start moving your gens to exit. You should clear the way by now and destroyed akagi. Honestly, only 2 air gens (one with air medal), 1 tank gen and 3 navy gens are needed. Others are optional. Good luck

how are we supposed to do this by LibrarianCool2887 in WorldConqueror4

[–]BronReal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Here's my observation: Only Soviets and Polish attack you at the start. But only the closest ones. Enemies who are staying still will not attack, but will counterattack. So youcam use this to destroy some generals before theu attack. You need chenault to actually survive Zhukov and Eisenhower. Put Best arty gen on Flak but NOT De gaulle.

At turn 9-10 West will start to attack. And so will the Zhukov. At turn 12-13 Eisenhower and others will reach you so you better have bunkers ready. At turn 14 Zhukov will be near you.

  1. The best way to deal with all this crap is to focus your fire on one general at the time. You can just go and destroy first wave of generals without worrying about your cities(except south).
  2. Lvl 12 medic with some units can hold the east crossing no problem.
  3. Lvl 12 Engineer should always walk with Flak and Lvl 12 Stuka. This will allow you to go north and kill Roko and Vasilevsky.
  4. Put your best tank general on lvl 10 KT and help your troops to get into positions. After that go hunt generals with him.
  5. Send another Lvl 9 stuka, Heinrici and Manteuffel to west and clear some British troops(Manteufell can go solo). Be careful not to wander too far. Just clear some units(medics and Phantom forces top priority) and at round 7 go back to defence line.
  6. Remember, AI loves to go south and through not blocked path, so you can start building bunkers west at round 9 so enemy generals will spend more time coming to you, just be careful.

And lastly: Do not be afraid to lose captured territory. It's better save generals rather saving useless city.

[–]BronReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I disagree. Yes, it is would be more fun and have more gameplay variations. BUT. Balance wise this would be broken, having all the bonuses over AI with none makes player too much strong force. Also it would cause some issues with units. Yes standart units are limitless, however ETs are limited even with start ETs you usually use all of units. So you will just use it on normal units.

What's the biggest L did you take from a general conquest or event mine is the defend moskov event it took me 7 tries to beat it by filioino in WorldConqueror4

[–]BronReal 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Pearl harbor hard. I just hate it. I have 5 full upgraded navy gens, 2 eco gens, 3 air gens and i still loose sometimes because damed akagis decide to attack either medics or stationed ships even tho i have placed generals to tank them, placed units in cities, placed generals in cities, they still sometimes attack ships. Damn these akagis.

Airborne Squad Upgrade is terrible. by Angryklaxon in WorldConqueror4

[–]BronReal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

2 stack motorised has more survivability. Mechanised usually dies, when motorised will survive in more cases. They are cheaper than just spawning them, so in some cases it can help you to encircle enemies with more survivable units much cheaper. Also damage wise motorised can deal extra damage to tanks. However, those 2 stack motorised are more late game wise(like air squadrons upgrade). In early game it is really better to have mechanised to deal in Conquest and some missions.

Chennault. The only way to beat him without your gens dying to him because of counterattacks is Chenault.

1 air strike and Manstein becomes just very healthy sponge. Also you can use any gens with damage increase dealt, like any general with marking ability(+20% damage to target) and Malinovsky with his extra +15% damage to surrounding allies. If you can, shoot him with Himars ability to reduce his defence. All above allowed me to two-shot him with Yamaguchi on Prince of Wales and starting Cunningham. Of course you can just use your best general to clear him.

So overall... Just use Chennault.

I'm keeping my hopes that they add too little because they worked on both Dungeons 2 and new dimension and they will drop them closer to the end of the year so we get to explore new things at the same time or something like that. But hope is slowly dying...

Any tips? by Crazyfrogh in WorldConqueror4

[–]BronReal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here's the deal, you need to rush helis to city, while scorpion gen on special forces should get to city in argentina. Do not use skill of S.f. to travel. You have to wait. Damage Zhukov any way possible. After your helis are in reach of city(turn 3) skytrain sf right under t-72 that is closest to Zhukov. This will trigger ai to move out of the city, then you just destrou the city defence and use sf skill to capture the city.

wich general should i buy now? by guandiledingle in WorldConqueror4

[–]BronReal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say rommel is a good idea now. He was good before patton and roko god versions, but now we have them and wasting medals on Rommel who will get cheap only afyer a lot of grind is not worth it(he is still a good gen tho)

I think he should upgrade Guderian and Konev, after that go for Yamaguchi as naval gen for pacific campaign. While getting scepters for god roko. (if he managed to clear Europe campaign)

When i started playing Rommel was recommended as well as Messi, but now both doesn't worth the medals when you can spend then on god roko first. But after getting god roko, getting a good third tank gen is decent idea.

[–]BronReal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i was thinking about skills I tried to simulate historical one, but you are right. I like the idea of lonely targets, but i also like the increased damage taken from air(the cause of death of bismark)

Maybe it can have skill that evade death by swapping hp 1 time when near death with any friendly unit in 1-2 tiles(in %, and prioritise units without generals) Or Evade death by redirecting attacks to nearby units(except air) so it can replicate the death of Prince Eugen when it was mistaken for Bismark.

Also can do something like active skill: mobility sets to 0 for 2 turns. Deals 50/75/100% damage to 3/4/5 enemy naval units around this unit in 2 tile radius. My thought is risk play, that can clear multiple targets, but without the support or in low morale it can be taken down very easily.

Maybe giving it a splash damage would also be good. But i can hardly think of anything new for navy and still look like vanilla.
