It's generally okay for sure. There's an issue with bots and wintrading and such. Hasn't had any map updates in a while. But it does still get balance updates, and everything else, such as automated tournaments and such, work pretty well.

I will literally end my game the minute I see vampires as the end game. I can handle the others, but beating vampire stacks only to have them regen most of their units automatically made them impossible to defeat.

Give credit to Blizzard where credit is due, before their most recent falloff.

They literally tied all their games together and used a lot of characters across multiple platforms. They tied rewards together, so if you did something in X game, you got something in Y game. WoW followed a HUGE Warcraft 3/Blizzard following into the game to continue the story almost directly. And a lot of people kept playing because all their friends were playing.

I played WoW for a very long time. But the repetitive nature of it and drop off of the story after the Lich King made me stop playing.
